I have a 03 SR5, and am installing a fog light kit, I went to put in the after market switch and need to know which plug was meant for the fog lights. Anyone have any ideas? I will have to splice in the new one.

For some reason I keep reading there is a fog switch on the Turning Signal Switch. Can anyone confirm this for me???

What you have probably been reading is that when you hit your high beams, the foglights turn off. With OEM function of course. You might run yours to be on all the time with lights.

I think what he’s referring to is; some trucks have a push button on dash, some have a lil twistie on the turn signal stalk

Im just trying to see about if the factory switch was an actual push button or the twisty switch on the turn signal stick. I've seen others use the push button but the two videos on youtube show a totally different wire plug then the ones I have, so im confused in this and what to do.

The 2002 has a push button to the left of steering column on dash just below corner vent.

I added them to my 2003 SR5 Tundra. It was easy plug and play. But I had to replace my turn signal switch. That is where the wires where.
So oem is on turn signal. If I remember right I just got a used whole turn signal switch from https://www.car-part.com/ had it shipped to me.
Below the corner vent is my button for side view mirror defrosters. Seems before 2003 that space was used for the fogs.
You would have to use a mulitmeter to see if they also still had a plug there for foglights. But dont see them putting it at 2 places.

i believe starting in 03 they moved the fogs to the turn signal stalk. You will need to get a turn stalk with fog lights to use the factory fog light system

the plugs you have there will be for heated mirrors, TVIP security Glass breakage sensor and the other for a power rear sliding window

now knowing what wires you have you can now upgrade to heated mirrors and possibly a power sliding rear window! the TVIP thing is hard to come by.. ive been hunting for a while.

According to the 2003 FSM, it's on the turn signal stalk !

I went the cheap way on my 04. The valance already had the lights installed but there was no other wiring. My truck was totalled and rebuilt so I'm guessing they found a deal that included the lights.

I used a 9006 headlight relay harness and tied the relay trigger to the drivers headlight fuse.

You could do the same but use the switch you bought as the relay trigger.

I bought a used turn stalk for like 20 bucks. Works great.

Ordered a new one off Amazon, on its way!! Hopefully this will complete this upgrade for me! Which all in all only spent $210 for the upgrade! Still cheaper then buying directly from dealer and then having them install. Will add photos when done!

The Lights took maybe 15 minutes to install, the plugs pop right out and the factory has the cables already there n ready to hook up! Tne relay is simple less then a min to pop in! The turn signal took 20 minutes only because I needed to watch a video to find the hidden screws behind the steering wheel to get the cover off, after that it was easy enough, the savings was worth it for a DYI project!!!

Turn the wheel and you will find 2+ screws, have to go right, then left to see them

No, just turn it with the truck on or wheels in the air, and then you can see them

I ordered my original lights from Amazon the first time around. The second set of lights were already on @FirstGenVol's old bumper when I got it.

For Those that activate fogs via panel 00-02', I pulled a few switches from some at the parts yard and you can utilize OEM switches to active 2 separate sets of lights (Fogs + Light Bar in bumper) where the blank insert panel fillers are now. That's what I plan to do!
