I would paint it black, black makes the bed look shorter. Same effect colors have on shoes- white shoes always look a size bigger than black shoes.

Haven't done much to it yet... don't have a garage at the moment but we are looking to move and a garage this time is non-negotiable....and I plan on using some house sale proceeds to re-tool (sold most of my tools 10 years ago when I lost a place to store them). Thinking about a caliper upgrade on the Tundra then I can throw the Tundra calipers in the 4Runner....

I remember when Tupac filed for unemployment in the state of KY.

I also remember when my governor apologized to Tupac.

This was hilarious to see live on the telly. Funniest shit I'd heard that week.

    Hell yeah he was. Lol

Thats our man. Back when the country was shut down for the wu-flu... Andy was making almost daily, hour long, televised updates on each county, confirmed cases, death toll, ppe, and he always ended each broadcast with "We will get through this together."

There were Fakebook groups created by women who wanted to jump his bones. More Facebook groups about how he should run for the presidency.

Hopefully, I won't get perma-bean for this. It was just too funny not to post.

They both look like they are for Caliper Type B. They look like the same spring, but have differing part numbers. Have you entered your VIN# to confirm on the parts site? Maybe call Stealer, too.

I didn’t, and I didn’t. I’m still getting used to that site/parts identification platform. Threw a Hail Mary and hoping for a home run!
Ordered from fluid from big girl, along with that rubber lube you quoted, looks shmancy!! Oe rear shoes, akebono front pads and new front hardware to replace the janky hankyness thats going on up there.
I’m getting a bad squeal from the rear I think, that needs to get taken care of.

I get the same rear squeal when pressing on the brake while backing up. On my to-do list is to get some grease/anti-seize on the points of the backing plate where the brake shoe backing rubs, that should take care of the squeal. Pretty sure PHM has a pic of the spots that need a dab of grease on the backing plate.

The Toyota Rubber Lube (Lithium Soap Based Grease) is for the Rear Drum piston/cylinder rebuild. It can be used with/inside DOT3/5.1 Brake Fluid.

Squeals can be stopped with Silglyde on metal/rubber parts, but not for use inside or contact with Brake Fluid.

I kind of want to replace my driver's seat with a power version. This sounds expensive and complicated, espcially since I have a SR5 so I'm not sure if it even has the connections. I am commencing investigation anyways. Anyone done this?

Does this make me Tundras.com first gen DJ?

I really want to remove the fridge slide from my backseat area and build a platform my dogs can lay on. I don't own any carpentry tools. I'm confident my neighbor would loan them to me. I'm not confident in my carpentry skills.

Don't rush through it and be sure to measure plenty, but only cut when you're ready. Sand down any edges.

That’s how you learn. All you need is a circ saw and maybe a drill, depending on design. Grab some outdoor carpet from HD and you’re gtg. I know ac and dc have vastly different back seats but I can send you pics of how I did mine.

+1 on the outdoor HD carpet. This stuff did an amazing job sticking outdoor carpet on my bed box and it has held up extremely well.

Honest thoughts on this bumper? I want to replace mine but I'm not sure I want something as beefy as the Brute Force bumper. This one isn't the best looking but it's not the worst either.

I'd like it better if the wrap around part ended closer to the first vertical piece. Seen a lot uglier bumpers though.

    Honest opinion:
    That thing is pretty awful.
If you've got a tube front and tubular sliders, you may be able to pull it off.
If the front is plate, the rear should be plate. Mixing is a big no-no in my book.

Meaning if it stopped before the X I drew? I could see how that would look better but offer less protection.
