I got a great deal on these OEM aluminum rims, so I went to have the 275/70R18's pulled off my trunda and put on these rims. The problem is that my lug nuts wont work on these rims. I was told the lug nuts needed a rim or a cap. Can someone point me in the right direction? maybe post a picture or a part number The rims came off a 2007 SR5 5.7 and I have 2012 SR5 4.6.

I'm sure someone will be able to help ... in the meantime, have a picture of the lugs that came off your 2012 wheels?

When I changed out my OEM wheels to my current Fuels I had to use a different type of lug as well.

I would check eBay as well. You can get stock parts from dealerships that they take off for usually much cheaper.

Wow, is that $11.48 each ... if so that nearly $230 for a set of 20! Yeah, a used set sold for $40 before.

Yeah, that's through a dealership website. I just posted that for the part #. Im sure one could find them much cheaper on eBay. Lug nuts are not cheap though. It was always fun watching a customers face when they brought in their 8-lugs for custom wheels without accounting for the price of new lug nuts.

I've got a set of 16 minus the lock lugs that needed to be broken off that I guess I'll never let go in case I ever need to put back on my OEM wheels. It would be cheaper to just buy new lock lugs.

thank you for the information. After seeing some of these prices on lugs, I sure makes me more glad that the rims were given to me.

The lugs are very expensive, I am in the same boat and searching for a set. Like mentioned above search ebay for a dealer take off set.

Wheelers off-road has the gorilla lugs for $5 a piece.

well that was lucky... I was looking and looking on ebay and I found someone that is just outside of the city in another town and he had the lugs in stock. Got a new set of 20 for $70.00, not to bad.

Thank you everybody for your help

I notice on mine, four lugs are normal and one needs a special key to loosen/open. I forgot to ask the dealer about it when I drove off the lot. Can I find that key somewhere in my truck? or I have to buy that key separate? Thanks.

It's usually in your glovebox. Or in the bag where they keep the tire tools
