I'm in Tulsa. I get to OKC occasionally, usually to pick up Craigslist finds.

I installed some cheap plastic fender flares. I actually like the truck better with these as the tires no longer stick out. The flares make the tires look flush!!

So he now owns your 4Runner or do you have both rigs?

Installed body colored mirror covers and door handles thanks to Sparks Toyota. Not a drastic change, but I like it.

I have wired in the lights that came with the Hooke Road bumpers. I used the location on the dash behind the ignition switch. It was a clean install, but I don't care too much for the location. My eyeball can't see the switches from the driver seat. I may re-route the switches to the roof eventually. Just used self tapping screws to mount the relays on the inner fenders. I am running all 4 front lights via the left switch with a 10A fuse. The rear bumper has 2 lights, so I'm using a 5A fuse. I had to buy extra wire to reach the rear lights because the wiring kit came up about 10 feet too short.

Also completed installation of a Badlands 12,000lb winch. I got the winch for trade out on some labor I did for a friend. It was used and came with wire rope so I replaced the wire with synthetic to save weight and not worry about rust. I had to locate the control relays to the side since I didn't have enough room directly above the winch. I purchased a wireless electrical control module that has a 50 foot range. The synthetic rope is 80 feet so I won't be able to spool it all out by myself. I have to open the hood to actually engage the free-spool release lever. I might remove the existing lever and install an extension between it and the winch, then drill a hole at the correct location on the bumper and mount the lever there (like a steering u-joint).

I just got back from a 2600 mile round trip to Florida. Truck averaged 13.5mpg and I spent $488 of gasoline. So, this truck has gone 7000 miles in my first 3 months of ownership. From Arizona to Tulsa to Tampa and back to Tulsa. It has seen the mountains, the beach and even snow. I love my new baby!!

Replaced the rear shocks with Fox 2.0's. They look great, but I really don't notice much improvement in ride quality.

I contacted N-Fab after seeing the Rutledge Wood video of his Tundra RCSB build. Rutledge mentioned "he had his friends at N-Fab make him some sweet rock rails". There is nothing on the N-Fab website for regular cab trucks so I made the specific request for them. I was told "We do not offer those steps as I believe it was a one off build. If you have any other questions please ask." If only I was a famous TV personality N-Fab might be willing to help me out. :(

Ouch!! I went the Disney Mud Run this weekend and got in a tight spot between trees. I'll be going with fiberglass bubble fenders and bedsides next.

I've replaced my mirror and taillight. Buffed on the paint to lessen the white scrapes. Removed the dealer installed pinstripes and buffed the sides. I priced some TRD PRO bedsides and they range from about $1k-$1.5k each. I may go that route instead of bubble fiberglass bedsides....... Then I'll definitely be doing the 3rd Gen facelift.

My new tires showed up today. Super Swamper TSL?SXII in size 35x10.0R17. I'm going with some Vision Manx Bead lock 17" wheels and wanted some "pizza cutters". I'm not adding TPMS to the wheels as they will be run at 10psi in the woods only. I'll keep my 20's with 33's for the street.

I finally put my first tire on a bead lock wheel. Man what work!! 28 bolts is ridiculous. These are going to look good and be worth it though.

Installed my new beadlock wheels and Super Swamper pizza cutters. The first wheel to tire installation took me about 3 hours. The second tire install took me 1 1/2 hours. The third and fourth tire installs only took me about 45 minutes each. I purchased a "bead setting" air blaster tank to get the back beads on the rims. These tires are noisy!! They hooked up great it the dirt and mud.
