Maybe MSRP, but GM offers much more with incentives than Ford does on HD trucks.

Yep, so a Lariat (or XLT with Leather) and Tremor package would be around $62.

The lift and tires aren't as big of a deal as the 4:30 gears and selectable diff lock on the Tremor.

The HD AT4 doesn't get a lift like the 1500 does?

That is true on the 4.30 gears for the Tremor, AT4 gasser is only 3.73. The AT4 does have the Eaton locking rear but it is automatic.

Displacement doesn't dictate physical size of the engine. The ls427 is one of the largest engines there is in a tiny package.

No lift on the HD AT4, just the 1500 version. Also doesn’t negatively effect your towing rating like the Tremor package does.

I believe it’s these transmissions. GM 8L90 or the GM 8L45

They are a lot of leaked photos per Toyota they have been copyright infringed and photo shop and the pics with the black camo covering with differnces in the photo are not at all correct. Will e in Cinci in three weeks doing some work with Exec. from Toyota will get more info hopefully. figures crossed.

They should bring back the column shifter on trucks with bucket seats.

I much prefer the column shifter in Ford and GM's over the console shifter, but the Toyota column shifter one looks/feels too small. But the trend is going away from them, hell Ford made the console shifter fold down instead of doing the easy thing and using the column shifter.

A couple of years ago, I got a Tacoma for a rental when flying into Portland. As I drove out of the airport I thought something must be wrong with the transmission. I went down the road about five miles before turning around and driving directly back to the car rental agency. I told them something must be wrong with the transmission because of how it shifted. Apparently, I was not the first to return it. Hard to believe this transmission exists, especially in a Toyota.

Sigh. Owned a 2018 Tacoma for 46,500 miles and posts like these make me wonder if i owned a completely different truck. You’re telling me you thought it was broken? ;)

Although it is nice to have the console shifter when in manual mode. I use it a lot when towing or in the snow.

After you read a couple pages of this thread, its hard to fathom why Toyota WOULD read these forums!

We’re askin’ for 4 speed manuals, 12 ft beds, carburetors and an 8 track set up for a stereo.

And almost forgot, the truck they sell the most of by a mile, is a worthless and total piece of shit!

    hahah...please continue, im enjoyin’ this!

That is an interesting question, would they kill off the DC?
I’m definitely taking the under on 15k towing.
Looks like you really pushed some buttons with your push button selector. :rimshot:

If I was in my 20's may be inclined to want the column shifter, keep the sweet heart close. Although wouldn't be able to afford this truck if that were the case.

I like bucket seats and counsel shifter, all I'd buy now.

This is why my 3rd Gen Taco had to be a manual. The auto was awful to drive.

If anyone here is correct about the specs on the new tundra, I'm sure they'll let us know they were right.

    So for my speculation:

    *Minimum of 4 tires
*Engine with available hrspwrs between 1 and 24000
*See through glass windshield with rubber rain squeegees
    *Seats for sitting
*Interior wheel installed for precision control of exterior wheels in front
*Peek-a-boo windows that disappear and reappear with the push of a button. Great for magic tricks and drive thrus
*Will be named Tundra, because an actual Tundra is cold. And whats colder than cold? Ice cold!
