Hey, I have a Toytec Aluma series boss suspension with rear shackles. If I put 1 inch shims in the front it would make it 4 in the front and 1.5 in the back. Would that be level? Thanks in advance!

Measure from ground to wheel well and add 4 to the front and 1.5 to the back.... that’s where it should be before settling. With that said you will definitely need an aftermarket UCA and diff drop going 4” in the front unless you want to destroy your driveline and not be able to get a proper alignment. The most I would comfortable go is about 2.5” without diff drop or uca.

You will void the Toytec warranty by adding shims to the front. I have Alumas and shackles at 1.5 along with 1/2 inch rear axle shims and I am level.

Oh ok, I’m not sure how good Toytecs warranty is but I’m not going to mess with shims if it voids the warranty. Thanks!

These trucks vary in height on the front end. The best thing to do is install it, let it settle, and then see how it looks. I actually got a little more than 3 inches in the front with mine.

Speaking about shims and Toytec lifts, down the road I am considering getting this particular set, just curious, is the tundra "lean" significant with this setup if you don't shim?

The Alumas are adjustable to compensate for a lean if you have one.
