The XB’s have amber blinkers so one would think they could be modified but not seeing one tore apart hard to tell for sure

Good question! Amber DRLs are perfectly legal just as much as White DRLs would be! Vehicles like the Ford Raptor and the Kia Telluride both come factory with amber DRL options for example! It's when you make DRLs colors like Red, Blue, Green, etc. is when you'll start running into problems. DOT/SAE approved the XB LED headlights as fully compliant with street laws just as much so as an OEM stock unit would! :)

you will love them. a big step above spyder stuff. I had the fog lights before the headlights and they are excellent as well. Wish they would also make a yellow one (xb fog)

@Headlight Revolution pass the word to morimoto,XB fog light in yellow/amber ;)

This is one thing I'd love to see too, we're speaking the same language here haha. Hopefully one day, 2021 is going to be a busy year for Morimoto so fingers crossed! For now, we have yellow Lamin-X covers (Part # LF365) but that'd be all for XB Fog lights.

It's incredible how far the aftermarket has come from where it used to be in regards to replacement headlights. I remember back in the day of ebay garbage projector headlights with terrible fitment, ugly designs, poor quality, etc.

These Morimoto's are truly an improvement over stock. Love mine!

Ok lol installed - couple things - installing the headlights is easy - the fogs suck ass. Really wish morimoto had some wiring instructions for the fogs. Those plugs were a bitch to get closed tight enough, just kind of a goat screw in general - but it’s all over now lmao

thanks for all the help from the HR folks!

Anyone had issues changing the horizontal adjustment, following the directions it says not to turn them too many times. I’ve been driving more at night so it’s a little more noticeable now. I’m also starting to get a dimmer light on the drivers side than the passenger. I sent HR an email and I’m confident they’ll handle it.

You can adjust further than 3 times! That note is there really to ensure that people don't over-turn that adjuster and de-thread the adjuster assembly! Feel free to adjust as needed, just watch your beam pattern as you do so. I'd say 8-10 rotations would be plenty fine! :)

The dimming however is odd to hear, certainly something we should talk about! Can you PM me and we can take a look? I'll be able to check out the email from there as well to further help you! :)

Tell them that giving us a preview will allow the chatter throughout the forum to spread and hype it up for a huge request for them when they are released.

@Headlight Revolution do you have any images what a proper beam pattern looks like for LED headlights? With projectors it's easy to see the step up from left to right, but i'm not entirely sure how to space out the horizontal beam pattern on the LED headlights.

Sure thing, It'll be the same aiming standards as a projector headlight would be! :) Ultimately horizontal adjustments are what you are most comfortable with. As long as you don't point one side out at a 45° angle or something crazy, you'll be just fine! Below is a guide showing you ideally what you'd be wanting when adjusting your headlights!

Installed my XBs last week. It was a piece of cake. I watched the install video a couple of times and once more as I installed the first one to be sure I was doing the DRLs right. Took a few minutes to level/aim them. The second one went faster than the first. I really like them. I did find a way to blow the DRL fuse somehow. So for couple of days they weren't working. After swapping in a new fuse we are back on line.

I did my own Laminex. That didn't go as smoothly. Turns out my fingers were not as clean as I thought so to keep from leaving a finger print I had to struggle with wrinkle remediation only touching the provided tabs. I really needed two more tabs to work with. It looks okay but not perfect. I have a few inconspicuous bubbles and had to cut out one small wrinkle. If I had to do it over again, I'd hire that part out.

Overall I'm very pleased with Headlight Revolution and their service/support. I'll be ordering more from them in the future.

I really like the amber daytime running lights. I have a unopened box of the white headlights. They were replaced under warranty. No need to open them since the high is in the teens in Buffalo.

Do you have any orders for white 2nd gen Tundra healights around here? I could swap, if they order me the Amber ones. LOL

Quick update....really liking the mew headlights, so much better than oem and now I feel much safer driving at night or early mornings on these back country roads. Thanks for the HR folks for helping me pick the Morimoto headlights, again great experience so far.
