I have a 2016 tundra sr5 that will be getting modified soon. I have purchased readylift 3/1 and bilstein 5100's. the thought process, because of mileage, was to not have to worry about replacing the OEM front and rear shocks/struts in roughly 10k miles after taking my truck apart to put the leveling kit on. two birds with one stone essentially. since the readylift is a 3in coil spacer in the front with 1in blocks in the rear; what ride height should I run the bilstein 5100's at? What are the overall thoughts of this combination in general as well?

I would run the 5100s at the middle or top setting and not use the spacer at all upfront.

for reference I run 5100s on the middle setting with a 1” block in the rear

    Looks awesome!

My son and I were literally just talking about that lift level for our next truck adventure and this was what we were thinking too. I've heard 5100 on top is not the greatest, plus we want a bit of rake for hauling junk in truck bed and the occasional tow.

Basically a 2/1 lift with Bilstein 5100 all around and using their lift and drop.

I do not tow anything thus the reason I went top setting on my 5100s for a perfect level with 0 rake.

the original thought is that because the billy 5100 at the top setting will stretch my oem coils to the point they are stressing beyond factory intention combine spacers with a strong shock in the front and back for a lot more durability and longevity. so with the spacer and billy 5100 combo would you just do the bottom setting? I like the way the 5100 rides in comparison to the oem 4600 replacement. Thoughts?

I also will be putting about as big as tire I can fit which is why I am wanting the full 3in spacer in the front.

I am no expert but the 2.24 inches that the Billstein 5100s provide at top setting should in no way stress the OEM springs beyond factory intention.

I agree with others. I would put the 5100 at middle or top setting and not use the spacer lift. In my previous Tundra, I had 5100 at top setting for 8-9 years with OEM springs and had no issues.

I wouldn't recommend using the readylift 3/1 lift and the Bilstein 5100 together. Even at lowest setting the 5100 will lift aprox .75". If you try to combine together it will be over 3" lift and may cause issues. If you want more than 3" , look into other options.

would love a 35 1150 but know that 34 1150 (295/60r20) will most likely be what goes on.

and if no readylift spacer leveling kit...I should still use a differential drop kit in the front correct? then use 1in rear blocks with the 5100's in the rear?

ok...spoke with 3 different 4x4/offroad truck shops today. all advised the same thing based on the tire sizes I want to fit on the tundra; run the readylift 3/1 leveling kit (diff drop kit included) and for best ride quality, run the billy 5100s front and rear with the front at the OEM stock height that it comes at. I am installing in about 2.5 weeks and will include pictures then.
