It's the flux capacitor receptacle...not sure why Tundras have those though, no way you can produce 1.21 Gigawatts!

Just there to offset opposite grab handle to hold the headliner in. Nothing else, simple.

Thank you! Imma start running that microphone to it then. Appreciate the actual intelligent response!

Most people pull the grab handle A Pillar and just clip the microphone about 3” from the top. To
go straight to this plug, you have to remove that anyway to feed the wire. BTW, to remove the
grab handle plugs. Insert plastic flat blade into the upper edge of the upper plug. If when you
see it start to come out and it’s got a plastic tail insert that slides in, then keep prying it out
slowly and so the ‘tail’ keeps coming out. It will allow the tab on the other side to just slide out.
It seems counterintuitive but seems Toyota did it so when you reinstall, you insert the short tab
and then slide and push down on the other side that has the tail, and it just clicks into place.
If you do this right, you won’t damage the plastic housing around the plug.
    I hope this makes sense.
If you look on my pound puppy thread, there are pics there.
