I recently bought a 2013 Crewmax, when I accelerate or turn I often hear a sliding/rattling noise coming from the backseat/rear panel on the driver side, opposite of the jack. It sounds like something is loose inside and moving around. How do you remove the rear panels to check it out? I tried using pliers to loosen the fasteners but it didn't seem to work. Anybody know how these fasteners come out? Thanks!

Hopefully it isn't glass from a prior accident. I used the jack compartment for additional tools on my 2010 and recall that you had to be careful as there were openings to the rest of the cab, so it could easily be that metal hook that holds the jack in place or some other small nut, tools etc.

    Welcome to the forum!
Did you buy it from a dealer? If so, I would let the shop tare into it to do it...if not, can you get someone in the back seat to help determine where exactly it's coming from?

Thanks everybody, it turned out to be a socket for the lug nuts that was rolling around! I have a quiet truck now.

I had this problem too, turned out to be my pocket knife sliding in the cup holder area in the door
