RRW has a horrible rep in the Tacoma side of things for fitment and customer service.

I’ve heard this too. Also, the link shown is for sliders with no bottom attachment to the frame. If these were to be used as only steps, they may be ok, but for use as actual sliders, I wouldn’t recommend them.

It has a bottom portion, if you look closely in the 4th picture you'll see it. I'm guessing it probably only has three or four "bottom pieces" that are either 2 or 3 inches wide. Whoever ordered it will have to confirm with the group once it arrives. I don't think the bottom has to run the full length of the slider..... as long as there is several portions that I'm guessing are there along the bottom. I have one off custom sliders that I had a shop fab up that are similar to this and it will hold the truck up without issue. This and a combination of multiple attachment points along the side as well makes it seem pretty bullet proof
***edit*** the "no drill" sliders are something that I would not be sure about

Ah yes. You’re right, I see the bottom mount now.
The no drill sliders from Caliraised wrap around the inside of the frame, omitting the need to drill/bolt the bottom of the frame rail.

I have been looking at these particular sliders also. Saw them on Relations Race Wheels.
    https://www.relationsracewheels.com/collections/rock-sliders

Now I'm a bit confused. I can't seem to get a email response from them after four days regarding some details about the product.

The sight mentioned here for runnin4tacos has a phone number at least. I'll try calling later today.

If you want a standard kick out tube design RCI is what you want to go with.

If you want a boxed step style slider Slee is who you want to go with.

Ah, yeah I saw that as well after I looked at it more. But I feel like having a solid piece instead of four bottom pieces would be more stable. Maybe they're trying to save on weight? My only other guess would be is that they are saving money by reducing the material, which makes me wonder what else that they are trying to save money on.
Please let me know what they say, I too am on the same boat and saw these from runnin4tacos, but some of the videos that I have seen say that it will only fit on 3 bolts and they give you the option to drill into your frame to fit the others. Granted that was on the tacoma and it was a couple of years ago but they are the only videos that I could find. If that is the case I will go with Cali Raised, some other members have used them as well and seem to love them. Sounds like they outsource them from Apex.

RRW seems to struggle with products that aren't wheels. Even then, there's been some issues with wheels in the past. I'm willing to take a chance, because they make the ONLY hybrid wheel available for Tundras. They are quite popular in SoCal, but that may be because people just go down there and get stuff.

I didn't connect RRW at first....but if it's Race Relation Wheels, I haven't head anything good about their service or communication when I was researching rims.

I avoided them for those reasons and ones stated about. Too many reputable vendors and suppliers out there to take a chance on RRW.

I was able to contact R4T in Colorado and it was an oversight on my part, but on their website they have those sliders listed as RRW sliders.
They also offer sliders from Apex and RCI. So either order from them or directly from RRW. R4T did state that they have NOT had any issues with the RRW's fitment or powder coating.

Yup, I contacted R4T as well and they said that they're gonna put the RRW on their tundra soon. They're waiting for it to ship to them but they also said that they haven't heard any fitment issues either. They said that they'll most likely post a video of them soon. They also said that the apex (CaliRaised) sliders come with a bunch of extra hardware that isn't used either. So hopefully @Nickj619 and @KWC will be able to share their experiences. I am leaning towards RRW because of the price.

I ordered their DIY weld sliders. They look the same but I have to weld them. Will hopefully do that this week, maybe next. They seem plenty beefy to me & will be able to be used as actual rock rails.

I ordered mine on 11/24 been waiting since. They originally said 7-10 days to ship. That turned into 4-6weeks. Now I'm on week 7 but ill give them week 6 because of the holidays. I went with them for mainly price. I don't off-road enough for hard core sliders and I was going to buy steps but figured these looked nice and offer a little bit more protection than steps.

I'm digging the APEX (CaliRaised), seems to have pretty good reviews. Asked a couple members here and they don't have any complaints so far.
