    Too much chrome.
    I like the look of the bigger tonneau covers but not functional for what a truck bed should be used for. Roll up is much better.
    Spoiler is a waste of money. Doesn't even looks good.

    Seems like it should have a giant sticker in the rear window saying something like "IN LOVING MEMORY OF JESUS or PEDRO" or something like that. Or perhaps a ridiculously oversized Raiders sticker.

    Around here it's RODRIGUEZ or whatever the last name is...in big, chrome, old English lettering that takes up the whole back window, some rosary beads hanging from the rear view mirror and a Mother Mary statue taped to the dash.

    I personally like the look of the truck. Looks much cleaner than mine, for sure. I also happen to like chrome (I do not suffer from the gag reflex that some members seem to have). Spoiler? It doesn't speak to me, haha.

    Chromium happens to be very hardy substance. Chrome is used often for hitch balls. The primary ingredient that makes ordinary steel into stainless steel is chromium. Add more chromium, and it becomes higher quality stainless steel such as 304. This probably explains why there's an abundance of chrome on big rigs.

    Some of us happen to like the chrome look. From all the discussions I've had on various forums, I have not found a single functional reason why I should dechrome my truck. Some say that they don't like chrome because it's too shiny. Then they spend hundreds of $$ to make their trucks shiny. Some people spend a lot of their time making their trucks look like work trucks. The only thing I gather is dechroming happens to be popular among certain segment of the society, which also seems to be over-represented on the truck forums. I happen to think it's a passing fad. All blacked out trucks seem to be relatively rarer compared to even a few years ago. Chrome trucks are everywhere. Car makers still make more chrome trucks than any other options.

    But relatively intolerance seems to be on the side of chrome-haters. Perhaps they recognize that their days are numbered??!!

    Agreed! I really like the blacked out look, but, it doesn't match me. I'm not really a 22-24 inch super chrome guy either. Nor am I a dropped/slammed guy, I'm somewhere in between and like a nice luxury but tough looking truck.

    I think there's room for all of us in the truck community.

    I don't like the wing but im not going to make fun of the guy either.
    I dont mind/like the chrome on my truck and im certainly not going to spend money to color match when the parts are functionally fine and even if i did, i dont have any time. But i do think color matched looks really cool. Its the chrome on the inside that bugs me but i dont have time to dick with that either. lol I would actually buy time if i could.
    I think that Regency conversion is sweet.

    It's nicely done, just not my style, or suitable for my needs. I'd far rather rock that than a Denali or an Escalade, but neither really do it for me. But, you should decide for yourself what you like or want, rather than letting a group of strangers on the internet decide for you. :)
