Anyone saying fuck it in Colorado and not rocking a front license plate? A girl who works for me has a aftermarket bumper on her truck and for over 3 years has had no issue. I can’t decide to put one in my front window or just leave it in the cab..

I will not recommend to break the law, but..........keep your plate nearby when you do get pulled over. Have a screw driver handy so the LEO can attest you put it on. I seriously hate these truly first world problems. Stage RIGHT

The only time I’ve been stopped in 13 years in CO: July 4 at Blue Mesa. PC: no front LP.

IMO having it in the window just draws attention to it not being on the bumper. Good luck!

Haha. Can tell my kids how I’m such a rebel. I will have to attach it to my front skid plate if so. Or my grill..was just curious if anyone has been going without.

Looking at the big picture of things now.......I'm fairly certain the LEO's aren't worried too much about where our plates are on the front...just sayin....

I've been pulled over specifically for no front tag by the State Patrol. I didn't have mounting hardware at the time I mounted a new bumper on the Tacoma I had at the time. I've also been pulled over for the rear tag not being illuminated on a Hilux I had before the Tacoma. The tag was on the bumper, but the light was behind that under the tailgate. State Patrol that time too. It was a Friday night coming out of Eisenhower Tunnel, I suspect they were looking for DUIs. So it's a crap shoot.

I’ve been pulled over for it twice in my old Tundra in the last couple years... the officers were relatively nice about it...but I lost interest in giving them a reason to pull me over anytime they wanted, so I put it back on.
That said I was a “punk kid” 18yr old, so they were always wanting to confirm there were no “substances” in my vehicle...haha
Luckily, being on the up-on-up made those stops relatively quick

I would trust Ascent Automotive in Eagle-Vail...but they get so busy that they run out of room to store vehicles. With that said, I haven't been over there since March. Worth a call I suppose... https://g.page/AscentAutomotive?share

Not trying to pay the 4.5 hours of shop time that is quoted for this 1 hour job. would rather give my money to someone who needs a little extra $$$ and has the skills and knowledge over a shop who has more business than they can handle.

Upcoming house projects forcing me to get a rack for long object hauling. Hey though, those 35x10.5r17s did great in the snow. Need some better looking 17" wheels here soon. Thinking satin bronze.
