Check into these bro, you don’t really want a “tow” strap. Tow straps are for just pulling. If you’re looking into using to get someone out that is stuck try these.... https://yankum.com/rattler

Yeah, unfortunately. Big overtime period again, 16 hour shifts until the end of the month, then start vacation on the 1st. Weather has been good over here.

no stuck asshat is worth this price for me lol. I bought the rhino recovery strap. Have only used it 2 times but works well. I don’t crawl or go to any mud events so it’s just for around town.

If you aren't planning on using it too much, you can get a fairly hefty strap at harbour freight for less than $100. I've only used mine a couple times, but it worked great.

Here is a budget snatch strap with good reviews. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07593BS2G?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title I have it but have not had to use it yet. I also have a "beater" tow strap that is used for rough and dirty jobs like yanking trees out of the way and pulling down dead standing timber.

Yeah, i was shocked. I feel like when i bought my truck, these were around $3-400, seeing some that are sub $100 makes me want to get rid of my tow strap and get a kinetic rope.
But then again, i haven't had to use my tow strap yet.....

Seems like as long as you get 3/4" or larger you should be good to go.

I got a locally spliced kinetic rope for about $100 in the proper diameter for the tundra. Think a lot of the kinetic ropes are the same and folks just do the splicing and market it. I have a steel shackle for the receiver and a soft shackle too just in case. Glad I haven’t had to use it but it’s in my emergency bag.

I like watching Matt’s YouTube channel. But I don’t think his name being attached to a 7/8” kinetic rope is worth an extra $150

I can understand that. Guess it all depends on what style of off-roading you do. Sand, mud, deep snow...a Kinetic Rope would be a great choice. Rock crawling and more solid ground not so much.

Don't buy cheap if you want to get out more than once, or you'll either pay it out replacing it after 1 or 2 uses, or it'll break 1rst time and you won't get out. I bought SMITTY BUILT , son bought ARB BOTH UNDER 70.00.

I agree...would definitely be looking at the Amazon link provided. You could buy two for Matt's price.

    Lots of shenanigans.
Honestly, I've used old harbor freight ones and they lasted me years with my old dodge. Eventually, I broke it by using it on the wrong application so I bought another one. Like @ColoradoTJ said, I too have heard that the Amazon ARB strap was great and plan on getting that one as well.
