3 inch lift, shackles and Bushwacker fender flares installed! (Yes, I know I need bigger tires, those are coming. Didn't feel like dropping the $$$ when these still have 20K miles worth of life left in them ;))

Feel like I want a bull bar or something else on the front end though...

    Lots of shenanigans.
I am short as well and just grab the steering wheel. Eventually I'll swap out the handle for my short butt but for now the steering wheel works just fine.

I had them installed and the shop included it with the install kit for the flares.

Good deal....most shops wouldn't have a clue. After seeing what happened to my 2013, I put it on my 2020 after I had them Line-X'ed.

Do you have a link to your amber lights in the snout? Those look nice, but I can't find a set I like.

Check the build link in my signature.
Started planning my anytime camera install. First order of business was to take the loose leads and make them into a single plug-n-play harness.

The camera lead has the terminal pin on it, but isn’t clipped in yet so I can run it through the fire wall.
    9D07EA75-7CB9-4357-AB64-DBE62E135FA0.jpg

Next I’ve gotta get some more wire so I can take the switch leads and extend them to make up the other side. I plan on making it long enough to eventually put the switch behind the shifter. That harness will join the camera power lead with the relay green, and will also have the ground lead. At least that’s my plan...

I'm right at 6' and 225#. I'm also getting older. I was afraid that I would damage the steering wheel or something in the column if I pulled myself in using the steering wheel. It's really not made for that. I also use try to avoid sliding into and out of my seat - trying to keep from breaking down the side support. The grab handle helps me with that too.

Did a buddy's Tundra the same week. He went with the Bilstein 5100 lift instead so we could compare. They ride similar, but I definitely got more lift out of mine. Soaks bumps up better then stock and the shackles keep the bed stiffer.

I just noticed on a YouTube video that @2020Platinum mounted his front camera a bit higher on the grille. Might just need to just try a few spots and see what works best for you.

    Thanks for the tip!
I learned a long time ago how to back a trailer up but we used an old Willies Jeep with the trailer. I always turned my head and looked back, never learned to back it up using mirrors.
Now with the Tundra I need to use the mirrors and hard to get used to it.

I've been doing it so long I can pretty much back any combo without thinking, probably hardly even got to look lol. However I remember when I very 1st learned I would tell myself until I got use to it, turn the wheel the opposite direction from the way u want the trailer to go. Once you get it angled just follow it back. You'll get use to it, takes practice. Each trailer is different too. Longer ones are easier since it takes more cutting to get going, theres more forgiveness with length. The hardest are the little ones like a log splitter or something short n small, every tiny little wheel moves makes a big impact on the trailer cutting and they cut fast. Good luck.

I’m 6’4 and still have to hold something to get into my truck. I’d rather have the handle than use my steering wheel. I’d be more curious to see how you get into your truck using no hands.

Side steps and good balance helps. I'm 5'6" and get in without hands all the time when I'm carrying stuff.
