Honestly even if it does come with those you should think about replacing the extremely hard stock bumpstops with something like Durobumps. They make a difference.

They don't need them because the spring doesn't bind.

What does this mean exactly. I thought the purpose of the washer was to extend the bump stop so the shock itself doesn’t bottom out when you hit a huge dip or pothole. I don’t off-road so I probably shouldn’t even be concerned but I know a lot of other Coilovers come with bump stop spacers.

Bilstein 5100 makes the coilover longer without adding more travel. Most other coilover kits have enough shock travel that the oem bumpstops work just fine.

Hey guys, how are you getting them ordered set below 3.5"? Didn't see the option on the website. Really wanting 2.5-3" pre-assembled. I sent an email just waiting on reply.

Try the live chat on their site. I sent an email a few weeks ago and never heard back. The live chat worked great tho.

I just called them and asked them to set them at 2" and placed the order over the phone. I also bought their spanner wrench to adjust them if they still look off upon receipt.

Good Deal man. The live chat for me was huge. I talked to John and he was very informative. I'll hopefully be pulling the trigger on the setup soon. I only really wanted 1.5" lift but screw lets do it 3/2 will be cool too. haha

The scary part is I'm going to attempt install myself and have zero experience. I always wanted to learn to work on my own cars so might as well start at 37.

Their install video looks helpful and kind of humorous.

I hope you bought an adjustment wrench. Mine were delivered today but they were adjusted in the wrong direction. At their current setting they will provide almost 5” of lift. I am hoping Ironman does something to make this right. At least cover to buy a decent spring compressor.

They should have been set at 9.645” for standard 3.5”. I requested 2” but they adjusted the collar up instead of down to 10.25”.

Ohh dang, you should be in the 9" range to be at 2" lift.....hopefully they get stuff like this figured out, I wanted to purchase the kit but leaning other ways after seeing some of the stories on here.

I got mixed answers on doing that from them. I'm not lifted in the rear and one said I'd be fine and the other guy i talked to said I couldn't do it b/c the shock would bottom out. Interested in seeing how you make out with it.

I've got coachbuilder +2s so about 1.25" rear lift. Wanted them dialed down to 3". On live chat they said it was fine to do it.

10.25 will be between 3”.25 - 3.5” lift depending on your weight and pay attention to install because they are driver and passenger side specific.

Both the paperwork that came with the shocks as well as the sales associated I live chatted with yesterday said 9.645” equates to 3.5” of lift. I think I am going to call and ask to speak with a technical representative and go from there but it just seems wrong to me.

One thing I found interesting was I asked about front diff drop with their kits and they said that the Tundra doesn't need it with 3.5" lift so they don't include one. It does have a carrier drop though.

So just got mine and they are set to 10.25" as well. I had requested them to be adjusted for 2.5-3" of lift. Very curious to see what they say.

Ok so contacted ironman. They said 10.25" distance measured results in approx 1.2" less lift from their standard 9.645" setting. So my distance measured at 10.25" should result in approximately 2.3-2.5" of lift. Apparently it's an inverse relation. Seems opposite of what I would think.

Okay small update after spending some time on the phone with Ironman. The measurement needs to be taken from the bottom of the rubber where the spring sits on. Area is circled in the attached photo. This confirms that the coilovers were not adjusted and left set at the factory 3.5" height. I was obviously told that Ironman would set these to 2" before shipping them to me and this did not happen (sounds like @cch2a is in the same boat). I am waiting on a response to see if they will offer any kind of credit to pay for a decent spring compressor or take it to a shop to have them adjusted.

It's strange I got a different response. Essentially that 10.25" is adjusted for 2.5" of lift. So what did they say to you the distance should be? I talked to John on live chat for reference.

If you measure from the bottom of the rubber perch as circled in my previous post I would guess you are at 9.645" that comes with the paperwork with the coilover. This should equal 3.5" of lift which is their standard. The guys on live chat are sales guys have honestly not been to knowledgeable. I have had two different sales people tell me that these cannot be set below 3.5", and then changed their tune after they went to speak with someone else. Since I wanted 2" of lift, the math works out like this. 3.5" (factory setting) - 2" (desired lift) = 1.5"/2 = 0.75". The rings need to be adjusted down 0.75" to give me an overall dimension of 8.895" or 8-7/8".

Maybe I'll just keep them at 3.5 and tell my wife I have to get a new winch bumper so I'm not nose high lol. Need it to be 3" to not be nose high. Sucks we have to go through this for what we paid. How hard is it to adjust them I wonder?

Ironman did call me back apologetically and offered to send me free adjustment tool ($80 value). I actually already purchased this with the coilovers for any future adjustments so they offered an $80 credit instead. I am pretty happy with this and just ordered this heavy duty spring compressor that seems like it had a lot of good reviews from truck guys (a guy with ironman coilovers included):
