Anyone have any issues on either of these covers leakage wise or winter use, freezing/ thawing? Anything better for close to same price? Have it narrowed down to these and I did do some searching on here and read some reviews.

Undercover Armor Flex or Bak Flip MX4?
    Thanks-

I am a MX-4 fan on two trucks now. No issues.

Can I ask how long you have ran with one?

First one was on my 2015 that purchased for an out of state job. I went through rain, wind and sand storms west. I used it to keep tools and other valuables protected. No water or other issues. I had it for 3+ years. I put one on my 2021 going on almost 3 months. Just had 7-8 inches of snow fall this past Sunday....all gone now. No water found inside the truck bed with the exception of a few droplets at the very end near the tail gate. I have a Bakbox tool box underneath and do not have any water issues towards the cab where it is located. Hope this helps.

I had a bakflip mx4 and it constantly leaked at multiple points. After only a couple months some of the hardware was rusting. Bakflip customer service was very difficult to deal with.

I installed an UnderCover Classic about two years ago, I found it on Craigslist for cheap and it's been fantastic - zero problems. Well worth the money, and it's issue free.

Sounds like none of the hard covers are issue free, worth the money?
    Thanks-

I’m of the opinion that you either go cheap and live with the minor inconveniences such as small leaks, or you go high end from a reputable company that will stand behind their product.

I think the best way to cover the bed is a snug top cap. I considered options for months and to be honest I will eventually do it. Only thing is I will also build a custom roll bar with a fold down expanded metal window screen and have a fold up with strut support window. That will keep any cargo from breaking tge window and the roll bar will give roll protection plus support overhead rack weight capacity which will be phonemenal.
