Did you ever find out your answer? I'm looking at this bumper. Another thread was questioning the durability when being pulled. Thanks!

If you're talking about this part circled in RED. That's where all aftermarket bumpers are mounted to. Will it deform? Not before the winch line breaks as it will be the weakest point. I've winched my truck up and over a 4 foot waterfall/step with the back full of gear, tools, and camping equipment.

Looking to snag this bumper. What winch are you running? I’m assuming you had to relocate the the top hat?

This is a demello bumper which I’m sure you already know, that mounting point you circled is significantly stronger that others I have seen, in fact that peice actually goes over the existing bolts and bumper mounting plate and then bolts to the frame of the truck to give an even stronger connection than most, not sure if chassis unlimited does the same thing or not.

most bumpers I’ve seen just bolt up the the bumper mounting holes and not to the frame as well

Op do you have any pictures of the internal side of the bumper? Are there any gussets or reinforcements? If not I would consider your end caps as cosmetic since all the strength is in the center section

I’m getting this bumper Thursday. Any recommendations on the install? Was there instructions? I’m a visual girl & didn’t see anything on youtube.

Nice! I'm getting mine soon. Been taking to Bart at Chassis Unlimited everyday about what lights and winch to go with my bumper. Picking it up in Livermore when it's done.

Not sure about instructions, but I'll call Bart tomorrow to ask.

Post pics when you're done. Will probably get yours installed before mine.

Awesome!! I already had 2 cube amber pod lights from cali raised. Ordered another two. So will have the 2 pods in each corner. Working on getting a deal for the 30” rough country black series curved light bar. Gotta see who can help me install it. Hopefully by this weekend if not during the week next week.

That's exactly what I'm working on...finding someone to help me install the lights and finding a curved LED bar light and a couple of flood cube lights. I ended up getting SAE fog lights through Baja with the plug and play adapter

Those baja are nice but lol way out of my budget. I’m okay with something around 80-150. The fog lights from cali raised were plug & play so that’s the good thing. Just need the Y adapter for each pair and I’m good.

Yeah I've spent alot the last few months. I may go back to look at cali raised. Maybe save me from having to put a a switch pro in. Having all those lights directly connected to your battery won't harm it?

Only problem is I've been talking to Cali Raised and their customer service isn't that good. I should say my experience with them. I think it's the whole procedure on how to contact them.

Yeah customer service is okay I hadn’t had problems I just chat online with them for questions. Never on the phone. Of course the brightness wasn’t top of line compared to diode or however you spell it & baja. But price wise it’s a deal. With 4 fog pods it will do what I need it too. Yes eventually I want to get a trigger guard as well so I dont have all these wires in battery. But that’s another 200-400 purchase lol.

We should just split the costs of things and share the items. It'll be like both of ours. we will just keep it at my house. LOL

Not very helpful but I wanted to comment on how excellent that bumper looks, even with the $1500 (plus shipping) price tag.

Well if it is brand new its going to be regular price. If someone returned it because it had slight “damage” they lower the price. But honestly it wasn’t anything major. That’s why I jumped at the deal. They had posted it on social media and I messaged them.

Yeah, I got it at 15% off and told them I'd pick it up. I actually saved some money because I also got the smaller bull bar. I may go back to them for rock sliders if I like the bumper.

Bull bar is 3" from the bumper. Looks squared off. This is from a Ford, but still same concept. I wanted rock sliders in case I bottom out. My friend got his and saved his truck couple of weeks ago. worth the money.
