Just purchased myself a RIGD Mega Swing. I've had alot of questions. Mostly interested in dimensions between tailgate and bumper. I've burned through alot of tires so I'm definitely ready to have two spares on hand. Once I get my RIGD I plan on taking plenty of pictures and measuring clearances. Happy to help people with questions prior to pulling the trigger.

Why would you use one of those? To fit a bigger than 35” spare?

Just because its super cool....lol. Has a camp table that folds down when it swings out. Also, some after market rear lift shackles make it impossible to fit a 35" spare under the truck. It's also quicker to take off than undoing that lame ass spare tire chain.

I'm a fan of the swing out for my bike rack. I also like having another spare. Plan on putting my 4 gallon rotopax on the back as well.

Thanks, gloss black Winjets. They already have a bulb burnt out, no warranty either. They do have their downfall.

good choice, solid quality. very happy with mine. it's not for everyone's taste and there's quite a bit of hate around having a tire off the back lol. it's extremely functional and as a kid always loved to see a big spare off the back of a 4x4. i also like it retains full towing func and can remove it when i want. relocated the license plate, installed led plate lights as well as bought an additional backup camera.

I fully intend on hanging my bike on the back too. Did you really need the extension? I feel like I'm going to be four feet behind the tailgate very soon

nice. yeah i did for my bike rack plus the extension iirc is called a wobnot so it does not only help me get my bike back there but it would wobble a lot when mounted directly to my trucks hitch. no more wobble with ext. so worth it to me.
