Still not getting it so I cheated and still nothing but I do have a craving for waffles.

A local hero in the Broadway show, "Once on this Island", often known for breaking awkward silences, saving the day, and being awesome.

In recognition, Tonton has his own holiday "Tontonmas" where young children celebrate by eating large amounts of Waffles.

Many things are wrong with me; so much that my soul is blackened like the Stygian night.

    Now pass the syrup..please!

I found this rendering of the next Tundra. Toyota is sure going to give the “boot” to the competition

I don't know what the big deal is, I just Googled 2022 Tundra, there's lots of pics out there.
Looks like there's a few different body styles to choose from.

I am hoping for a new gen Dynamic Force v8 naturally aspirated, maybe 5.0L. Or a ducted fuel injection diesel, I would jump on that in a minute. No particulate filter and no def.

If we can get a 2022 with a V8 then I might get one. Otherwise my next truck will be something that does have a V8. Honestly, the Ram TRX looks like my next truck right now. I will wait to see what Toyota puts out for the 22 model before I buy a TRX.

If I needed to get rid of my Prius, I would do it. 70 mile round trip commute would kill the bank with my 18.

I will admit the features on the new Rams are attractive but after reading the reliability ratings and seeing all the problems people have with Rams they are not on my list.

I recently fell down the rabbit hole with the new Gladiator Mojave, til I started checking the main forums mechanical/warranty sections, that was enough to cure that obsession. It would be hard to go away from a Toyota truck for me.

Yes they for sure are not as reliable as the Tundra, but the TRX has 700+ HP with a V8. I only keep a truck two years at most anyway, so the reliability factor may not matter as much for me.

I get your point of view. . I had the same when I bought my 17 Ram. . Changed my mind when I realized how much it sucked being at the dealer constantly with a new truck and realizing that warranty don't mean jack IF ITS ALWAYS THERE and I'm arguing with them about loaners. Traded it and happily lost my @$$ at two years in. . .

probably not...dont like the idea of it not being naturally aspirated anymore.

I'll preorder the 2022 and trade the truck I've only had for 1 year if the '22 model comes with a manual transmission...

Otherwise, I'm perfectly content with my current truck. Actually quite happy with it overall, though it's in the shop right now investigating a potential transmission noise, and I can't get my damn aftermarket winter wheel/tire combo to balance. The noise was apparently serious enough that the tech has already opened a case with Toyota.

I put a lot of miles on my truck. I currently have almost 80,000 on my 2018, so by the end of the year I will probably be just over 100,000. Optimum mileage for trade in is under 100,000, so if I like what I see I might be in the market before the end of the year. However, if I go over 100,000 and for whatever reason don't trade, I have no problem running my truck for another 100,000. Time will tell...

not me. i generally only buy new, just preference. bought my 08 new and they lost me in 2015 when the eol'd factory warrantied trd superchargers. so keep mine forever...or at least until it dies hard then re-assess. hopefully that will be in another 13yrs or never. i'm cool with it as a forever truck.
