That's the exact experience I had. My dad always had Silverados growing up and I have always been a GM guy but the AFM they have in those trucks make it sluggish and frustrating to drive. If they didn't have the AFM I can honestly say I would still be driving it because I think that is the reason their trans fail.

Yeah, literally every person I know has the AFM 'deleted' as soon as they buy their trucks.

On a side note, regarding the low speed 'bump,' literally every truck I've ever had has had the same thing. It not only happened more often in my '13 F150 than the Tundra, it was one hell of a lot worse. I'm not worried about it. I mean, far better to have a hard yet quick shift....than a shuddering/rough/delayed shift.

i have noticed this when i let go of the gas briefly and get back on....but other than that shifting is smooth.

Mine started doing this but only at 23k miles. Dealership said it's fine but it doesn't feel fine at all. They reset the shift points but the erratic shifting is still there. Anyone else have this issue?

Don't forget to lube your drive shaft. If you're shaft is dry, you'll definitely feel it.

Not to beat the dead horse with this thread, but I'm starting to feel this at 15.5k miles.

Just more recently at stop lights, I'm feeling like my rear axle is about to buckle. The downshifts feel all clunky and even 1st gear shift after going from a stop light feels the same. Anyone else also experiencing this recently?
