    Hi all -

Has anyone done full replacement of their leather seats for captains chairs and backseat? Not the slip cover but the full leather cover. If so want to know how well it worked him where you bought it from looking for suggestions.

I'm still in the process of getting this figured out. I thought I had a guy that was going to make me some, but he ended up just stealing my cloth seat cover. I've tried US Auto seat covers off eBay, and they didn't match up and didn't work for my seats. They might work for your 2005. The color was great, but fit was not. For reference, I have a 2003 AC and I'm trying to get grey leather seats.

I am looking for this also.

I have Clazzio leather on my Taco that are really good but Clazzio doesn't do 2003 Tundras. They do the 2006 and I called Clazzio and they say that there is enough different between the 2000 - 2002, 2003 - 2004, and 2005 - 2006 that they don't recommend doing the 2006 covers on a 2003.

Light gray bucket seat owners unit. ha ha

I will check tomorrow. I have a set of leather covers but not sure which gray color they are, or which seat config. Will post when I know.

I'd also like to see pics of any options out there. My driver's seat leather is in need of replacement.

Check out Roadwire.com. That’s where I buy my leather interiors. They have the patterns for 1st gen Tundras.

I installed a set of Ilea and they turned out great....Katzskin was having some issues with their stitching at the time so I went with Ilea..no issues, easy to install and great fitment...even the headrests. Don't remember who the company was I ordered them from, been several years but I'll bet you can find Ilea on Google.

Thanks everyone your your suggestions. I will chase them down tomorrow and see what I come up with. Katzskin is good, but was hoping to save some money and down on my own, I will look at Ilea and Roadwire.

I think he meant Alea. I’ve used them before but don’t prefer them.

Do you have any pictures of the seats? I'd like to see final product pictures on the tundra. I'm still looking for a DIY replacement or a local upholsterer who could do it. No luck so far. But the shop in Boise I called was only a little more expensive than roadwire and would do full customer covers installed in leather for around $1500 - $1800 was his estimate.

After double checking I found out that the covers I have fit only 2002 access cab. Not sure what the difference is because the seats look the same. Probably just a little tweak on the seats somewhere.
Too bad, this is a super nice leather kit with 100% leather on all top surfaces.

Thanks @Toptalktoyota for the pics. Those do look good. Are you selling those? I'd be tempted to try them on my 2003.

This is a set from Roadwire that I ordered. I’m a distributor for them and could check for you. PM me with details on your Tundra and I can get you a quote.

They are for sale and like I said this is a top notch kit. You won’t find this anywhere else.
I’ll make another call tomorrow and try to figure what the difference is between the 02 and 03.
I installed a ton of these back when they were new but it’s too long ago for me to remember the subtle differences. Hopefully it will work for you.

I’d be interested if you find out whether they fit. I may end up going with these either way. I haven’t found anything else that seems to work from anyone else. I can’t think of what would make them any different from a 2003.
Is there a discount by chance for installing yourself or as a forum member?

On my own research I’d say these will work for your ‘03. Compare the two pattern schematics and it seems the only difference is with the rear backrest. They added access to the car seat anchors. If this is the case, my ‘02 covers will hide the anchors and you wouldn’t have access to them.

Hmmm. That's a pretty subtle difference. I also thought the only car seat anchor was behind the middle seat behind the arm/backrest. I have had to look into that recently and I need to make sure I can use a car seat in the somewhat near future.

Ya thanks for all the info @Toptalktoyota its been really helpful. I think that’s the direction I will go. I gotta ask though whether there is a discount code for forum members that you know of? Or if I should order through you, since you’re a distributor? You were really helpful, so if I can order through your business I will.

Sorry, there’s no discount code but I can get pricing for just the leather kit for you if you want to DIY.
If you go through the Roadwire website then that would be an installed price, $1,699.00.

If you could get pricing for just the leather kit that would be great. I would really appreciate it.
