Simple Green didn’t make my list. I’ve used it before and just didn’t have any in stock to try. I had a blue plastic Rubbermaid bin, but nothing big enough to fill and it would have been a bit too expensive to fill it. I used sprayers and scrubby’s . I’m glad it came up as well as it did. The black seems to be hardest to clean for sure

Looking only in British Columbia, Canada. Anyone have one they removed in
Undamaged Condition? I also need the plastic coverings. Current bumper is
    beyond repair. Send me PM.
Thanks in advance, but not worth costs of trying to get shipped from US.

I’ve not got enough postings to post in buy/sell/trade and I hope this is not a terminal
offence. Just trying to assemble and complete as quickly as possible. Wrecking yard search
has been made. Bumpers and tailgates are very rare.

6 more posts until you can post in the buy/sell area. A couple more updates and you will be there.

Enjoying the thread so far, can’t wait to see the truck finished!

Back to cleaning......over an hour of scrubbing and hosing off but I got the center console
clean enough to touch with bare hands. Good grief, it was awful. No lie, I used a steel flat
2” paint scraper o clean the bottom of the cup holders of the embedded awfulness that was there.
I have this stuff, called Bumper Renew. Had it for ten years. It seems to do a good job of
resurrecting the black. So in the picture, Bumper Renew on the left. Armour All on the right.
Pretty evident which is giving better result. So I’m going to commit to the door panels with this.
Look how filthy the vinyl seat is compared to the cleaned console. Sheesh

Now I wonder what's in the Genesis cleaner, after a quick look all came up with is "it's a surfactant". I think I need to get some and see if it does a better job on some vinyl tile that never looks quite clean.

We found GENESIS about ten years ago. When we were actively breeding dogs, well the mess
sometimes got ugly. We sprayed it onto living room carpet without staining. FYI, it has to
be rinsed. I figured the seatbelts were forever grunge. Check out this console after a couple
of hours. I think I’ll be painting the vinyl plastic, it got scrubbed pretty harshly.
I had a nice hot fire in there all day, still smelled like a wet sheepdog farm last night. Good news,
all the interior cleaning is done for now.

Sanding, scrubbing and sanding day. Since I’m the apprentice doing this work,
It’s evident the apprentice is overpaid.....

Timing belt kit on its way. Amazon for $240, new serpentine and oil filter.
Illness has got me down. Be a while after this, but it’s hard work is done.
Special thanks to my guy Scott, did a remarkable job
I’m not well enough to get more or better shots. Dirty, dusty out of the shop pics.

Here is is at home. Still have a bunch of clean up but the tough stuff is done. Patiently
awaiting the arrival of replacement chrome bumper. Looking it over, to not see the horrific
signs of its past life, almost obliterated. Makes it seem worth while. It won’t fit in my shop,
so with weather improving next week I should get the entire interior back in. I’ve researched
headlight lens polishing so that will be just a couple of hours and I have to get a proper detail
kit to finish it up nice.

Wow. Nice find and great work so far. Please put some new wheels on her...For science..

Heck, you could even clean those up and paint them and they would look fine.

Budget restraints, I’ll clean the wheels first. Might even just get a set of steel winter wheels.
They would look good in black with the new paint. At least I got good tires.

I’d like to fill the fog light holes. If anyone has a good pick for reasonably priced
halogen I think to match the headlights. I’m not spending to upgrade the headlights.

This is Toyota Spruce Mica. I’m partial to green. What’s cool is this colour really goes
black in the shade, looks very cool, nice effect. Then jumps right out in the sun. Since you have a green Mustang, look up 1969 Ford Black Jade. That’s the current colour of my Land Cruiser.
How Ford ever put it on a car eludes me completely. After 4 classic Mustangs ( read: 30 speeding tickets ) I can’t have any more.
