basically, I want to do a few things but I'm terrified of voiding my warranty. Any thoughts? And I'm think a very minor lift, like 2" or so. Just enough to put slightly bigger tires on. Thanks,
    P

No, as long as you're not cutting the frame (and you're not at 2") it will not void the warranty.
In order for anything to void the warranty, they must prove said part that was installed caused the issue.

Read more on it by Googling: Moss warranty act

Exactly what Sean said. Be prepared to tell the mechanics that they are dumbasses too, sometimes they like to say dumb things. Just in my little bit of experience with dealerships.

I believe the suspension portion of the warranty will be gone. They wont pay for your parts or parts effected by your parts

    I agree with @Tracker

Not sure how many of you have been in a fight with an auto manufacturer, but I have with aftermarket parts. Pull out this and there will be laughter.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuson–Moss_Warranty_Act

So if you do a lift any more than what the dealership will install or warranty, have fun with anything drivetrain related.

This act was for the BS auto manufacturers where doing with warranty coverage like the following:

Aftermarket air filter- void warranty on AC system....void warranty

Aftermarket air filter- seat fabric coming apart...void warranty

I say do as you please suspension wise. Extremely rare you will have warranty issues with the stock suspension anyways. Enjoy life and have fun with your truck!:mudding:

@Tracker @ColoradoTJ thanx fellas.. anyone else know about the cutting part? Is that something that has to be done with 4 inches lift or more, or is there another way around that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I believe it is on lifts 4-4.5" and bigger, but I would research that more.

Bottom line: stealer will ALWAYS try to deny warranty. They once tried that trick on me (ME!!!) by claiming that fuel injectors are not covered by 36/36. Of course it didn't work but they tried. It's cheaper and faster to remove lift spacers than arguing with mafia.
