removing chrome mirrow caps...Check! I heard the door handles are harder to change due to keyless entry. It did come w/Toyta Bedliner.

We actually live in Happy Valley too. I default to telling people when we travel we're from Portland, OR because everyone knows Portland but no one knows Happy Valley.

Sweet, glad to have a neighbor!

I forgot to mention that we used to live in Vancouver (Near Van Mall), and then Battleground from 14-17. We loved it out there but we both worked in Portland/Hillsboro and the commute was brutal.

Check the build link in my signature.
not much harder, but much more expensive. the sensors add to the cost, but at least with black you can get sequoia handles that are gloss black.

Lived in BG from 1998 to 2005 when we built a house NE of La Center (“View” area) and have been here since.

    Yeah, that and Boring.

You just might want to. Next gen reveal will dictate the spring/summer purchase because you will either have those that love what Toyota will release thus holding out until release date OR the opposite and creating a mad dash to gobble up the 21s.

That’s what I was thinking Amaury, get the last of the proven models, if I like the next generation , let them work out the bugs for a couple of years, what dealership did you buy from ? Good experience? Price if you don’t mind?

Wilsonville Toyota. Yes, great experience (Autumn was the salesperson). I never had to step foot on to the dealership. I was able to do everything via email and had truck delivered to my house (I test drove and inspected the vehicle before accepting) and signed papers here. It really eliminited that dead time you spend at the dealership waiting around.

Awesome truck. I have a black 2017 Platinum. Just put 285/70/18 ridge grapplers on it. No trimming or cutting just removed the mud flaps and pushed the front liner in which gave me clearance and still looks great. Toytec 3x1 level and 18” black Fuel Vapors +1 offset for the poke. I’m going the black out route with the only chrome being the handles and mirrors at this point. I’m replacing the handles and Plastidipping the mirror caps black. My question is the Platinum badge. Should we dip it black or leave it chrome? They don’t make black platinum badges so plastidip is a great choice.

I curious why you went with the leveling kit? I hear good and bad about leveling and I’m undecided. I’m definitely going to 18s with bigger tires for sure. Would love to see pictures of your set up.

I’m gonna swap the chrome mirror cap with the metallic black replacements from Sparks Parts as the price isn’t too bad. The door handles on the hand for my 21 are expensive swaps because of the keyless entry. So I may leave alone for a while. I’ve seen the platinums badges plasti dipped and my thoughts are it works and looks fine and will likely plasti dip those and the 4x4 as well.

I really didn’t have a rhyme or reason on level vs lift. I guess you could say the overall cost of the level was much cheaper than a lift. I just wanted a more aggressive look and hated how the front end pointed downward especially when you hit the brakes hard. I don’t off-road much outside of forest service roads for hunting/camping. I just prefer a more level ride. I went with the Toytec 3x1 and personally feel it rides better but that could just be me. I am going to check out the mirror caps from Sparks now as I’m looking to do the same and not sure I want to Plastidip mirrors. I did get some black overlay door handles that seem to fit perfectly and will def be plastidipping the badges. Here is a resent pic with new wheels. Truck is dirty as it should be and terrible picture. Gonna clean her up tomorrow hopefully for a photo opp. I went with the +1 offset for a more aggressive look and I think it’s perfect.

Here are some pics with better lighting. Didn’t have time for a wash but I like my trucks dirty anyways. Nothing crazy here and feel like I’m just getting started with my new toy.

285/70/18 Ridge Grapplers fit perfect with minor adjustments anyone with two hands can do. No bmc, just pushed the liner forward which gave me about an extra 1” and removed mud flaps.
