I would love to get that color matched grille/surround but I have so much other stuff I can do with 5-600 on this truck that I can use. I can live with the chrome for a while

I hear ya, but I haven't had color match since my 15 Pro was totaled in late 16...been dealing with chrome for 4 years on 3 different trucks

Next up is my favorite bf Goodrich KO2s tires, but one size up from stock 275/55/20 To 275/60/20. Then I’m done, I promise (said the tundra junkie).

 I know it was four years ago but damn man that's terrible! Hate that that happened to such a beautiful truck and hope nobody got hurt.

Took my truck to go get my steering wheel control problem fixed. Showed them exactly what caused the issue (turning the wheel causes it to connect and disconnect) and told them it had to be a bad wire in the steering wheel column.

Took them 2-1/2 hours to confirm that was the issue. They told me the part was backordered and wouldn't be here until Tuesday. When they gave me back the keys, they had left some of the trim off, in my cupholder.

When I got home, I noticed they had used my keys to unlock my bed storage, and then left it unlatched so it came open on the drive home. Nothing missing, but the tech swears he didn't go back there even though I always leave it locked and the storage would've come open way sooner. Super pissed.

That sucks. That's why my gas lid lock and other locks are on quick detach key rings from my truck key.

Installed some N-FAB Podium steps today. Wasn't sure how the kiddos would handle them but they're just fine. Aligning the bolt holes was a bitch on the front but a fairly straightforward install overall. Other recent pickup was some Husky Liner X-Act for the front (OEM ones are okay for the back for now.) Also have the Rago dash plate and Ram mount waiting for install, and some Yotaleds will be here next week. After that I need to get the bed Line-X'd hopefully next month.

I finally got the front finished (for now) on my 2016 1794 CM 4X4 and eliminated most chrome: White TRD grille and bulge, 2019 TRD LED Headlights, Black-out LED Fogs, White mirror caps, and Black front center bumper cover. I ordered aftermarket front bumper ends and had them painted 040 white, but the color didn't match too well and they looked too bright white. I guess a little chrome bling isn't a bad thing? Maybe I'll try the white end caps over the chrome next. Still need to get the black door handles.

Thanks...not sure about her...I didn't get hurt other than reigniting my PTSD...oh, the one thing I didn't mention...with this truck I got in Jan 20 on my birthday in Oct, someone (being parked) hit my door (smh, this is why I can't have nice things) so it's at the shop getting fixed

Now that I’ve had some time with them I can honestly say they are better than expected, even after an almost nonstop 200+ mile trip, they stopped smooth and consistent all the time

Man, that looks good! I seriously considered it, but had concerns (maybe unfounded, but nobody could give me an answer) about condensation here in the rainforest...

I've never been a big fan of the cement gray color Tundras until now! That truck really looks nice and the wheels make all the difference. What lift and size tires are those?

Thank you! It’s a stock SR5 suspension. With stock 275/65R18 tires. Rims at a +25 offset. No rubbing at all

I told my wife I didn't care about the stereo when I bought this truck a year ago.

I don't know how this crutchfield box showed up here today. Conveniently delivered while I am home and she is out..........
