Those alignment specs look pretty good. You usually want more positive castor on the left side to compensate for road crown, which you have. Need more info for the “pull”. On the freeway, when you let go of the steering wheel, does it drift to the right? Or you’d be in the next lane over in a few seconds if you let go of the steering wheel?

Before you do anything else, swap the left front tire with the right front and drive again. This maybe related to the tires.

 

The freeway is not a horrible pull I can hold my truck from going into the other lane with the tip of my finger. It just needs some slight pressure. I feel its within a couple seconds im in the next lane. You can see the steering wheel turn pretty much as soon as I let it go slightly to the right. I had them check my front end components and my tire psi while they had it for alignment. Everything checked out good. Im guessing swapping the tires would be a good place to start

Ya really helps with clearing bigger tires. My bmc is pretty mild I feel.

How to you prevent 37’s from going through your fender while articulating/off-roading

 

Alright I'll give my oh so valuable internet opinion. That's a lot of caster! That's not a bad thing, the steering should feel firm and return to center nicely. But that little bit of positive toe might be making the system question where they center is \ | or | / I shoot for zero | | to slightly negative / \ toe for a less darty/pulling feel on these high caster setups. It can't be too terrible as is, that's a better alignment than 99% of the "get it in the green" jobs that happen everyday.

 

Yeah its not too bad but it is noticeable. Honestly I don't know how long its been that way. All I know is I really started to pay attention to the way the truck drives after I replaced the tires (mostly because of how quite and smooth they were compared to my MTs) but then I did notice that as well. Its mostly a more annoying thing now since I noticed it more than anything.

I guess this leads me to another question. What tire pressure do yall recommend for rear? I see alot of ppl that usually don't use their truck for towing with a slightly lower pressure in the rear so the tires wear evenly. Mine look over inflated to me like some of the tread is not touching the pavement. So for instance 55 front, 50 rear

 

My MTs are at 30. Smoother and comfortable. I used to have them much higher thinking I’d trade off the ride for better gas mileage but the tires ended up wearing unevenly.

 

Same experience. These big ass tires are underloaded even with all my extra weight. Running anything above 40 creates center wear and yields no noticeable fuel economy improvement as well as rides like a rock. I like to hover around the 32 low tire warning area for comfort until next set those TPMS are coming out.

 

So chalk test until it runs the full tread?

Thanks for posting your alignment results. I'm running 37x13.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and caster is at 2.7/2.6 per attached. It's not rubbing but I'm not doing any serious off roading presently. Good to know I could push it forward more...but if I do I think I would need to add spacers to stock bumper so I don't rub/run into it. Looks like toe could be less on mine? All feels good driving. GMC dealer here does my alignment since they have a lifted truck department and the setup. The chalk test for me came out to 40 psi front / 38 psi rear. Just me and full fuel so I thought it would be lower like 34/32 or something as someone mentioned above. Will give it a whirl again sometime when kids leave some sidewalk chalk out. Cheers!

Yeah my caster is pretty out there. A bunch of the members told me that's how you fit 37s and they weren't lying. I didn't have to trim anything more coming from 35s. My alignment feels solid but something is making me pull to the right very slightly. They swapped my tires around to see if that could be my problem but still pulling. It's more annoying more than anything. Especially since I will be driving from Texas to Colorado in the morning

I had them lower my psi to 45 all around but I probably need to be around 40psi. So probably around the same as you. I'll chalk test sometime next week to get that squared away before I get uneven wear

 

well besides that hope you enjoy the road trip! My first drive in the Tundra was from ID to IL before I regeared so in hindsight would've left her in tow-haul for the drive, or 5th gear as top gear to avoid quite a bit of hunting. Haven't corrected my speedo yet so it's still -~9%.

 

Appreciate the tip. I was thinking about the tow haul mode but I was going to see how it went. Now I know to just do that for sure

 

You see those two bolts on the bottom of the liner. Those are the two bolts on the bottom of the bumper. I used my floor Jack and bent both black brackets up and ran the screws back in them and tucked the liner. Also did an aggressive bmc & pinch weld/fender fold. I’m on 37x13.50x17 +25 offset

 

Soon I will be joining this club! SPC UCAs and toyo RTs ordered today. Scheduled for next Wednesday

Is it just me or does anyone else think his 37's look huge? Is that pic distorted or something? Or are those like 40's?
