Looking to upgrade from a 3/2 Ready lift to a coil over for better ride comfort. Not looking to break the bank either. Will stay with 34 or 35" tires as well so only looking to lift approx 3".

    Coilover recommendations??

Well the higher end suspensions like kings or fox could be over budget, they are nice and ride well but not inexpensive.

There are several good options. Toytec has several options so check them out-https:// OME suspensions is another good product at a fair price, toytec sells them too. Then there are 6112s, adjustable, and I would suggest them over 5100s. You may want to check out Dobsons suspensions, not sure about price on them however.

Some folk run Icon, but they are a bit more $ than they others, can also view Icon suspension at the link above.

So the good news is you do have some nice options and any of the coil over suspensions will be much better riding and handling than the large spacer you are running.

Toytec 2.5 Aluma series coilovers or Bilstein 6112/5160 for the lift.

Whatever wheels float your boat, SCS are amazing, but also very hard to find and a little pricey, Method makes nice wheels also.

You are probably looking at around $5k all in with lift, diff drop, shackles, UCA, wheels, tires, etc.

Honestly the lower the cost always better but have been looking at the OME, Toytec/Elibach and Toytec Boss Aluma series. I will be doing this upgrade when I get new tires so I have 6+months to make a decision.

Some are rebuildable and others are not....is that something that i should be concerned about? How long do they last before needing rebuilt? I have only had level kits to date.

    Toytec Aluma 2.5 coilovers
    SPC UCA's
Toytec Boss rear shocks with resis
    Toytec shackles set at 1.5
    1/2 axle shims
    18x9 0 offset Fuels with 285/70/18 (34) Ridge Grapplers

What are the 1/2 axle shims? Are you talking shims on the coil over to compensate for lean add a little lift or something else?

No. They are 1/2 blocks in the rear. Toytec calls them shims...you can use 1 as a rear shim though.. With the shackles at 1.5 it gives me 2 inches of rear lift.

I have the same truck as you (year, model, color) and just ordered Toytec Boss 2.0 coilovers, SPC UCAs, diff drop, Toytec Boss rear shocks, and Toytec Shackles. I have the Airlift 5000 system in the back for towing an Airstream travel trailer. Running stock wheels and Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/55-20s. Will let you know after I install how it goes. Doing the install personally. I’ll change wheels and tires when the tires I have burn down more.

I spoke with Hugo at Toytec and decided to go with the 2.0 rather than 2.5 coilovers and Boss rear shocks since I spend most of my time on the road.will share pics of install and final once done.

Following along. These are the exact options I have been mulling over for my upgrade this year.
