What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Did you try going into

1.Settings

2.display

3.button color

and selecting one?

I have that unit in a 16 and can do it. I’m sure your 18 can. In some of those Menus there’s an arrow down on the right that I didn’t even see at first. Next time your in the truck give it a whirl.

 

Haha. Ya it’s in the settings. Its hard to explain but it changes the outlines and some shadows? blue, orange, yellow and there’s a couple other ones

Interesting. Thank you! I will dive into that tomorrow. I found were I can change the button colors and theme on the head unit but not where it changes the center gauge (info screen between Speedo and tach) for the truck.

On the head unit :

-General Settings
Arrow down (bottom right)
- Color theme

 

Aye sir I apologize I was saying you can get the button color on the head unit to almost match the color the dash lights up. There’s an option to make your own color for the buttons on the head unit. Outstanding looking rig sir.

Gave her a bath, switched my TRD decals to black, took a couple pictures, and then got carried away on the computer...and yet I still wonder how I get so little work done...

 

I don’t know if they have one for Android. I saw where a company is making something but don’t know if it’s available yet. It was AA wireless dongle.

 

I'm sure there is. You might have to search Amazon or Google it. The one I got is iPhone only.

yeah...I absolutely HATE the fact you have to plug in your phone every time you want to use GPS if you don't have the "premium" package...and what's worse they don't tell you that before you buy, they say "it has GPS"

Wouldn’t matter because it would break right after warranty like my buddies. 65000 he had to have the rear main seal fixed on his dime because his extended warranty just ran out... this is prior to any wheeling too

 

Thanks Casey. I wanted to build a full length one too. But the ESP one comes with the replacement brackets to allow the full cutout.

 

Is there still room behind these cutouts for radio units/audio amps? I was going to use this space for a dual band radio and an amp but it looks like there may still be enough room to do both

 

I thought it was a bit odd, too. However, the key attached to the fob still worked in the lock and in the ignition...
