Just stumbled on this thread. Live in Denver, CO looking to swap my 2020 Super White Platinum hood (Plus Cash) for a Super White with hood scoop. Open to talks though. I know its not functional, but damn, the hood scoop is bad ass! I had one on my 2005 4Runner and just loved the look.

I know I can buy the parts from Sparks or Cool Springs, but not interested in drilling holes in my hood myself.

While I do like the look, I agree on the other points.

Keep at it! Stay persistent. It took me almost 1.5 years before someone hit me up for a trade on Tacomaworld. I was more than happy to drive 2.5 hours to swap my OR hood for a Sport. Then I got rid of the truck 6 months later. LOL!

I'm in the same boat, mostly because I just got a tundra and came from a tacoma. I use it off road quite a bit and I already noticed how bulbous the nose can feel when trying to get the line of site on the rockier dirt roads. If there was a scoop there I'd get real frustrated.

    It does look cool though...

i see most people looking for a scooped hood after a trade are typically paying some cash on top as well.. what are you guys typically paying in that situation?

Not much cash is trading hands since you are getting hood in return please read Tacoma threats as nothing is in tundra threads

I have a 2019 black TRD PRO Tundra. I do not like the double hood scoop look. I am interested in a possible trade for a regular hood.

My Tundra is carport parked, never wrecked, no cosmetic damage that I can find. I would only be interested in a similar condition part.

I would be willing to trade straight up and maybe we can help install each others hoods...lol

I am located in North Alabama.

I'm in North GA... zipcode 30534
My hood is mint, 9000 miles on my 2020.
    Also clear vinyl wrapped.

Looks like the hood buldge/trim would need to be swapped over also since mine is chrome.

    Talk to me brother !

The real question is, why in god's name would you want to add a non-functional hood scoop?? Even if it was functional it wouldn't make a benefit, as the airbox is in the fender lol.

Some like the look, kind of like chrome I suppose. I like scooped and un-scooped, not biased at all. Chrome on the other hand...nevermind.
