Let me be more specific, i've got a stock 2012 Tundra TRD Limited. Its turning into the designated hunting truck but i'd like a softer ride with maybe a couple of inches of lift. not pulling trailers with it and not loading heavy loads in the back. Truck see's mostly oil field dirt roads which are full of pot holes. toytec CO seem like a good start, but i honestly don't have the knowledge or experience in this subject. I'd like to know what those of you who have the vast experience with tundras and suspension think. I said no budget but realistically looking to spend somewhere between 3-5K

I got excited just seeing “suspension” and “no budget” in the same sentence.

I’d agree with the other posters here, they might not have that flash, but you can’t go wrong with 6112/5160. They run forever, and perform well.

Bilstein 6112/5160. Set 6112 to top setting. Should be around $800-$1000

285/75R17 Toyo AT III or MTs depending on your use and want between an all terrain or mud terrain. Around $1000.

Icon 17 inch wheels. Method 17 inch wheels. (Saves weight, more rubber). You will want a +18 or +25 offset wheel on a 5x150 bolt pattern. Around $1000.

Decked two drawer system for stowing all your gear but still having your truck bed to use also. Around $1000.

That’s four grand and you have new wheels/tires, a three inch lift and some bomb proof storage for your gear.

The last $1000 can be used for new upper control arms UCAs and floor mats and extra ditch lights or something.

    Done.

You can make improvements with the Eibach coils on the 6112's as everyone has rightly suggested, but the real issue with the Tundra is the rear leaf springs - it will never have as good of a ride as a rear coil spring Toyota like a Landcruiser or 4Runner.

Can’t thank you guys enough for the feedback! My hunting in the Tundra is mostly predator hunting making stand after stand so its lots of driving down dirt roads and slightly off road. As far as tires, I’m leaning more towards the Toyo’s Zero One Actual mentioned or just some BFG All terrains. I’ll plan on doing the Bilstiens 6112/5150’s with new upper control arms. Any specific brand i should go with on the UCA’s? Yea, I searched for advice on suspension on the forum and ran into lots of “budget suspensions”, which is cool, but I’m trying to cry once kinda thing. I’m a firm believer in the mantra, you get what you pay for. But again, thanks for the advice. Worth the money to do the Eibach coils upgrade also?
    Thanks!

Icon Delta Joint UCA. The best you can get IMO. I would just stick with the 6112/5160 combo. It's an excellent setup, and most of the reason why the Fox ones are more, are for the name.

Fox and King being more expensive has a lot more to do with how they are made, not just a brand name. Similar reason as to why Bilstein shocks are so affordable.

I’m suprised to see Bilstein mentioned in a post about “no budget” suspension mods. I’ve owned Bilsteins, Fox, Toytec, Kings and ADS and I would not put Bilstein in the same tier as King/ASD. They work for what they are which is a cheap upgrade.

if it was me I would order a set of ADS Remote Resi’s w/ adjusters, a set of solid ball joint UCA’s (I’m gonna go with JBA or Dirt King), some new rear leaf springs, and a set of Durobump front and rear bump stops from SDHQ.

I decided to go with CB lifts for my stock Pro suspension or I’d be adding and other set of ADS’ in a heartbeat.

On UCA's I'd just watch out that they don't have too much Caster built in if you want a more comfortable driving experience - the more caster the more you will have to "muscle" and fight the steering wheel in corners. Some moderate caster UCA's are JBA - more aggressive would be like Camburg. For me I think the sweet spot would be around 3.5-4 Caster, that would give you better stability and improve cornering precision - but shouldn't have to fight the wheel too much (stock is 2-2.5'ish on most Tundra's).

Definitely replace the coil springs, that is the main thing that will improve you're actual ride. Shocks dampen the coils, the coils are mostly what determines if the ride is harsh or not.

    Ehhh.
I personally know some of the higher ups in fox, and they all say, unless you’re really sending it, it’s not much different.

 The higher ups you know at Fox are telling you their product is not much different than other shocks on the market? Thats pretty funny.

As I said, if you’re not running whoops, you don’t need it, as my friends said, who are C level Fox. Doesn’t matter to them if I buy fox shocks.

I know of at least 3 people that have been unable to get proper alignment #s with Icon tubular UCAs, I'm one of 'em. I checked their UCAs by both, measuring and placing MCM UCAs directly on top of the Icon's. The Icon's are a good 3/8" too short which caused way too much negative camber. They also don't allow for much caster. These were the worst purchase and biggest waste of money of any of the mods I've done to my truck. So, what did Icon have to say about it? "Cut the inner tie rods shorter." WTF??

Fortunately, less disappointing to hear than to experience financially.
It's not all about wasting money either. There was a lot of time wasted trying to resolve an irreparable issue and finally swapping in proper (MCM) UCAs and 3 or 4 visits to the alignment shop.
In all fairness, the Delta Joint is cool but it can be installed in Total Chaos UCAs. Then you'd have the joint with some UCAs that have proper geometry.

This is the first I've ever heard about Icon UCA's having an issue. But to be fair, it did take my shop a few tries to get my alignment correct. It's all good now though.

Second this. I have the BP-51's + Dakar leafs and although not cheap, they are worth the money. They also look fantastic in the wheel well of the truck on all four corners.

I read somewhere you are supposed to cut the tie rods by 1/4" with those Icon UCA's.

    Pencil pushers lol.

My stock billies feel much worse than the stock Fox set up I had on my last pro. The Pro floated over any imperfection, I could say the opposite of the stock 4600s. At times I wish I hadnt had the Pro, simply because if you havent experienced a higher standard you simply dont know what youre missing.
