Hello everyone I have a 2020 Sequoia TRD Pro. First time creating a build page.
-So far I have the 88 Rotors 1 inch lift on it. I wanted more lift so I ordered and just received the Icon 2.5 front coilovers. I also ordered and just received in the mail the Dobinsons 1.75 inch rear coils. After doing research I found out I cant install them and keep the factory TRD pro rear shocks. So after more research I found king makes front and rear shocks with reservoirs for the second gen sequoia so I will return the Icons and go with Kings all around. I will be ordering them next week. It was a hard choice it took 3 months to get the front Icons and it will probably take longer for the Kings but its better to do it right once.
-I have some 18 inch method 305s sitting around waiting for tires. I ordered some BFG KO2s from discount tires in a 295/70R18 but are on backorder. They had said possibly end of November but now there is no ETA. Maybe I will go with Toyo AT3.
-I also had the ARB dual compressor installed under the hood
-I had some rigid ditch lights with Rago low profile mounts.

Ohh one last mod I forgot to mention is I have the K & N intake installed. I live in California It was a quite a task to attain it. I ended up having to have it shipped to my brother in law in Oregon then he mailed it to me. It was the only mod I did on my own. I am not very mechanically inclined. I was pretty stoked when it was completed. I was worried it would make the Sequoia really loud but it did not. I also have a 2014 Lexus IS 350 Fsport with a full cat back exhaust which is very loud and I guess im pretty over it. I wanted this Sequoia to be the family mobile so quite and comfortable is the goal. I really love cars my wife has a 2015 Lexus RX 350 Fsport which is bone stock. She has not let me mod it. And a 2016 Prius that I just took off my dads hands.

That looks awesome! White is a sweet color on these!

Any info you can share on the ARB dual compressor install? I will be looking to do the same but not sure where to start or if anyone makes an install bracket or anything.

none of that stuff. Only difference between the normal sequoia and TRD Pro is suspension, the front grille and the trd logo on the head rest. Its really not worth the extra money especially if you plan on changing the suspension like I am.

Very nice Sequoia. There's a white TRD sport in our town that we're going to test drive this week. Still iffy on spending that much on a vehicle but maybe we'll love it

Their nice vehicles. I wish it had more for the price. I was between a denali, the one PRO and the escalade. I figured this was more reliable. I did test drive a GX470 it was nice but we wanted something bigger. Maybe down the road I can trade my wife’s RX for the GX but right now im good with just one car payment.

We test drove a Yukon because of the same reason, features and bells for the price. The Yukon is also a beautiful vehicle, inside and out. The Sequoia is pretty much an 08 with led headlights. But there's something about the Sequoia that's more robust. We also had 2 close friends lemon law their Yukons last year, this left us a little uneasy. We'll either buy this Sequoia or wait out the model change....if it ever happens

According to the dealership I got a Tundra from a couple of months ago they’ll be updated for 2022 like the Tundras. We’ll see if that’s accurate before too long.

    Congrats on the new Whip!

I am sure you can't wait to get it set up to your liking.
IF, I may suggest. B.F. Goodrich tires "use" to be my go to tires. I have gotten up to 60K+ miles on those tires. However, I would never buy them now. The changes they made have proven not to be as good as the older model tire. "Some" folks have had problems with tire balance, bad wear, and mostly not even getting good mileage on them. Now a days, there are much better choices for tires. Since they are on back order, take some time to research other brands.

    Again JMHO.

That would be nice. It's the only reason we're considering a Yukon. It's hard for me to spend 60k on 2008 Sequoia with led headlights...Toyota or not.

I ended up purchasing the Toyo Open Country AT III they just showed up. I will try and get them installed on Saturday. If I am able to I will upload pictures. I really want to get the Gobi Rack. I saw one without the front going up and it looked good. I asked the owner how he got it that way and he said each one is made to order so just to tell them “with no ride” I also want some bushwacker oem flares. Well see...

    SteveO,

Smart move! I think you made a really good choice. Toyo Tires are so much better of a tire for sure. I love my Toyo Open Country R/T tires. As for OEM style flares. Check w/ Roman @ Cool Springs Toyota or Sparks Toyota.

I got mine OEM Flares from Sparks Toyota and had them painted color matched at my bros shop.

I ordered mine with "no rise". Just an FYI they do tack on an extra $200 for this particular modification to the standard design.

We went up to Idylwild today. I finally installed the wheels and tires. The tires fit perfect. No rubbing whatsoever with the 295/70r18. I was told the King suspension probably will not show up until June or July. I ended up going with the ones with adjusters. I will install the Dobinson rear coils once everything comes in. I am also still waiting for my Icon upper control arms to show up. Its been over 3 months and nothing yet.

I wanted to put 35’s but I was told I had to do a body chop which did not appeal to me. I think this would be the biggest you could go.
