That looks really good. With the pods behind the mesh, how much light makes it through?

Used the SDHQ Tundra mount that goes in front of the battery. Easy access and out of the way. Well worth the money.

Yea, that's a good choice. I almost went with the Swithc Pro but ultimately felt it put too much wiring under the hood. I ended up jsut running the 3 "trigger" wires to the engine bay to the light bar and compressor. Since the light bar included a DRL, it has 2 switch wires.

Enough for me. I bought the pro level DD pods so they are bright. The screen does block some but I think that’s a plus. Less angry drivers at night complaining of the temporary blindness I give them. Lol

Bought my bumper from 4wp. They told me 2-3 month back order. After 3 weeks, they called and had it ready for pick up.

Ordered mine from AutoAnything and they had it in stock already. Was at my door in less than a week.

The fogs are. The other 3 options are not at the pro level.

Nice.... I just ordered the same DD Pro Fogs. Turns out the Baja Design SAE Fogs that I have will not pass state inspection as fogs since they are not really SAE certified.

Both of my DD pods finally arrived in mail today. I will get them on tomorrow and post some pics. They seem extremely well built.

I love them! The company and the product. I’m saving to buy those Max level pods. 500$ a pair is steep but the light output is the highest in the industry.

Got my DD Pods mounted up, swiveled mounts all different directions trying to get amber fogs to sit back further but nothing worked. I ended up cutting screens to make it look more flush. Extremely happy with the lights and the output. N-Fab bumper has exceeded expectations with mounting options for extra lights.

@jefroshm0, when you mounted your DD pods on the corners of your N-Fab bumper, how did you manipulate the brackets to face more forward? I ended up bending mine but still am not pointing forward enough. I am assuming you used these like I did.

I’ll send a pic of it tomorrow. It was a tight fit but didn’t do any fab or bending work on the brackets. I would do it now but the truck isn’t with me.

Thanks man. That is how mine was mounted too but I have two pods next to each other. They were pointing too much to the sides which caused me to have bend the brackets towards the front more. That is a clean install, great job on your wire loom to the connector.

6 weeks of ownership and I have rust?!! What’s the best way to get this cleaned up and how to prevent further issues?

I tried two pods but found it too crowded and not worth the bending and fitment struggle. So I opted to leave the screens on and run with one set connected to the fog wiring. Works for me but I can see a lot of unused space for sure.

Mine was bought used and powder coated by first owner. Haven't noticed any rust so far. Maybe someone else can chime in. Either way I would definitely contact N-Fab and ask what your options are. Bumpers are too expensive to have these issues this quickly.

This thread is extremely useful! Time to install this NFAB M-RDS on my 2018 SR5. I’m leaning towards the textured black. What is the advantage in choosing the gloss black finish? Are both paintable in the future to match the cement color of my truck?
