I contacted Magnuson on Dec 27th and was being told that everything was finished except for a few bugs that needed to be worked out but that they were still trying to release the 2020 "by the end of the year". I plan on following up but still no set release date.

I haven't heard anything yet. They are using OV Tune for the 2019s so they are probably waiting on OV to crack the 2020+s.

The Harrop Stage 1 doesn't require a tune just a mod.

    No word from Whipple either.

Thank you guys for the info.
Harrop could be a great option but not much information about them and I am afraid to be the test mule. 40% larger and dual internal rads doesn't mean much to me and I am pretty sure, most of the people unless you are planing to pull some serious hp out of that engine.
Maybe Harrop should come with a more reasonable, introductory, price to attract people ??
A nice video installation video done by someone with serious credibility in the community and some test drives after would build some trust as well.
A side by side test (Harop stage 1 vs Magnuson) showing differences may be another nice touch.
The other thing with Stage 1 is that, it requires 93 all the times vs 91 for the Magnuson. It happens to me more then one time where 91 was the best I could find.
I am pretty sure they are both good choices but I have the Magnuson on the Tundra and is fantastic so far. I am open to Harrop but they may have to do a little bit more ???

Haha! Just saw this going through this older post. Does your brother drive a ram? Also did you regear to 4.88 as well?

    For my fellow 2020-2021 owners...

After some inquiring, I found out Superchargers Online (aka "SCOL") acquired a 2021 Tundra as their shop vehicle not too long ago, and will be installing the Magnuson on it this week - and subsequently doing testing on the 2020-2021 ecu re-flash for the kit as well. We can all probably assume the hardware in the kit will remain relatively unchanged, as the only obstacle holding up everything is the re-flash for the new(er) ecu in these trucks.

For those who don't know about SCOL, they work pretty closely with Magnuson as one of the go-to retailers for supercharger rebuilds/installs. It also helps they're less than 30 miles away from Magnuson's HQ here in Cali.

Fingers crossed everything gets ironed out soon! :spending::burnrubber:

*waves goodbye* I don't care HOW powerful a truck is, if the company behind it doesn't make it that reliable.

March 5 on their Instagram - Seems they're going to run the OG TRD supercharger lid and got it powder coated a custom color(looks like Magnetic Grey to match the shop truck exterior) - just an aesthetic thing. Looks great.

March 11 on their Instagram - assembly of the SC and probably very close to getting it installed

Will do! Parts will be in by end of spring/beginning of summer. I don't expect any issues after the tech talked through the add on.

Look, jus t take the inspection plates off of each one and swap em. voila!!!
    Done. A TRD supercharger.
They are the same thing and I'm betting the plates are exactly the same.
