    Hi there,

I just finished to install the anytime harness + natika camera.
Please let me know if you have any question on the process.

I am posting as my image isn't a clean as I think it should.
I can see some horizontal interferences (lines) even during day light with engine off.

I pinged anytime few minutes ago to see if they heard about this issue already but wanted to post here in case someone already solved this.

I doesn't show up as clearly on the picture but here is what I am complaining about:

    ---

I believe I made a clean wiring, using heat shrink connector, splice connector when required, and wire fork to get my ground.
I believe that if I made something wrong the image wouldn't render anyway.

Any thoughts on what it could be?
I might try to move some wires when I get some more time and see if it changes something.

I checked the wiring again, move the RCA into different position to see if it would change anything and it didn't.
Also, rear camera is doing fine so if it was due to interference behind the radio, rear camera would be impacted too I believe.
Engine wasn't running and tested during day light.

I would love to hear about someone who installed the same to see if it has the same issue, I might need to ask Anytime to resend a camera.
    Ping @RainMan_PNW

I think that's par for the course on those Natika cameras. I've got 11 Natika cameras on my truck and only the 720p models have a more clear view.

I still haven't run mine yet. I'm lucky if I can get about 30 minutes after dark to go futz with stuff on my truck right now, which is pissing me off because I've got a lot of stuff I want to get done. But that's life. I did manage to get a couple small things done tonight, but doing the camera is something I need time to plan the routing and decide how much I want to tear apart at the same time.

    Updating for future reference.
Confirmed with Anytime support that wiring was clean and engine wasn't running while still seeing interferences.
They sent me a new camera that I haven't received yet, will update once I have the chance to try the new one.

Where did you mount your front camera?

I made a small aluminum plate to pinch a slide on the front grid. I am not fan of trimming when it can be avoided.
    I drove 400+ miles and didn't move.
Plate can't be flat neither as your angle won't be high enough to clear the bumper on the video, so if you go that route, make sure you adjust while tightening up to not have to do the same process once you think this is over :D

    unnamed.jpg
    unnamed-1.jpg

I just received the new camera, it's really rainy and dark outside but had to plug the new one.
I checked before unplugging the other one (really hard without light), but my gut feeling is that the new one got the same horizontal lines :(

You will be my reference haha, if when you mount yours the image is crystal clear I will re-wire. If you see the same quality I will know that this is how it is supposed to work as mentioned by Cruzer above.
I will still have another look during daylight tomorrow!

OK...I'll keep you updated when I can get it done. Hopefully this weekend...but not sure.
I'm going to use a YotaLED mount plate and put it above the "TOYOTA" but will need to use the "horizontal mount" setup to do so.
And yeah, it is NASTY outside here tonight!

    Nice!
Do you have a link for the mount plate?
You should have better ground clearance if you put it up there!

Confirming that new camera renders exactly as old one in day light.
Might just be to picky on that one ..

Will wait for your update :)

Yes, sorry for not getting the link. That's the one I've got sitting ready for install.

Ok @Jmn - got my install wrapped up this afternoon. When I turn on my camera, I can see some very slight horizontal lines, but nothing that I can really catch on my phone camera, and certainly nothing that I would notice while using it to park or see what’s in front of my bumper. I can say that compared to the rear camera, the image is more “washed out” and bright, but I’m not expecting Nikon quality from a $30 fish-eye video feed either.

Without going nuts on shims (I’m already shimmed out about 9*) I’m going to live with seeing a little of the “YO” in the image. I can see the top edge of my license plate frame, and the top cut-off in the video is actually really close to where my dash in the picture breaks what I can see on the door.

    Thanks Casey!
I must have been too picky on that one and was expecting something as “net” as the rear one but thanks for confirming some “light horizontal lines” (It’s hard to catch them with phone camera here as well).

    Really clean install, as always!
    Topic resolved for me :)

That video switcher is fairly new on the site I think. i would like to see the install instructions for it to see what kind of wiring project it would be.

Does the link work for you guys? When I click it it says "404 page not found" and I can't find this through the normal menu navigation...

I have not gotten around to doing a write up. I have 3 cameras left - I removed a bunch of the cameras when I got new front and rear bumpers. I do plan to start my 3rd iteration soon, which should have around 19 cameras total.

I have a rotary (analog) switch that connects into my BeatSonic anytime front camera system - so instead of 1 camera I have X amount that I just switch feeds. Pretty simple actually but just takes time to solder and run all the cables.

I press this button to activate my BeatSonic anytime camera
    IMG_1812.jpg

    Here's my rotary switch:
    IMG_1813.jpg

Here's the camera showing what's in front of DF tire:
    IMG_1814.jpg

    Here's front center diff view:
    IMG_1815.jpg

    And the PF tire view:
    IMG_1816.jpg

I've learned that what I really want to focus on are where the guidelines are. Because of the fisheyed view the guidelines are level but if you see the periphery the street is at an angle, however the rock or obstacle that I'm focusing on are visually correct at the guidelines.

I didn’t like the picture resolution on my camera either, so I switched it out for this one and it’s better, but not high res by any means.

I have a 2021 platinum and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where to put the camera switch? Is it worth sacrificing the GBS sensor or am I missing a free switch placement? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Mine is a little different and has the push button start up there with no extra space for a switch. I am thinking of pushing the GBS out and leaving it connect behind the trim and putting the switch in its place. I’ve seen some people say the GBS will still work behind the trim.
