Welcome to my truck photos and things that I've done, or will do.

This truck is a 2021 CrewMax Sport 4X4
ordered with optional Gunner 20" wheel package that came with the Nitto tires and bedliner.

    Mods so far

    - Bilstein 5100 shocks on top setting
    - 20% tint on front door windows, 70% on windshield
    - Interior LED light replacement
    - AJT vent trim and center console trim replacement.
    - Techstream (turn off seatbelt chime, activate all doors unlock, all windows down, etc...)
    - Center console divider and top shelf via Amazon
    - Custom Mountain bike front wheel holder
    - Coachbuilder +2 shackles
    - Husky Mats front and rear
    - leather steering wheel
    - ESPtruck underseat storage
    - Hornblasters train horn
    - Relocation of USB to radio inside the console
    - Bed rails

    Future

    - Hirevsports tail lights
    - Bags in rear to help with towing

    Story time.

My previous Tundra was a 2013 Rock Warrior. I drove it for 6 years and wanted to change things up by daily driving a car. I did that for a year and decided I wanted another Tundra, so here it is.
Ordered October 21st through S.E.T. It delivered to Dealer December 21st.

We live in Tennessee and were planning on taking delivery in Atlanta. Since we would be in Jacksonville for Christmas (Visiting relatives), I told them to take the truck to Coggins Toyota in Jacksonville and I would pick it up Christmas Eve.

Rolled into town on the 23rd and was passing by, so I stopped to see the truck without telling them. (sneaky sneaky)

We arrived at the dealership on the 24th and after a short while, we drove away.

    5 miles on the ODO

Forgot to mention that my wife has a 2020 Nightshade 4runner.

    Uneventful drive home.

Parked in my wifes spot. (Her 4runner is still in Florida. Her dad is driving it up today)

As of 12-28-20 I have removed the chrome emblems on each side and added my custom mountain bike mount in the bed.

I have Bilstein 5100 shocks in the garage waiting on install to level the front.

I just ordered AJT rings, cup holder, shifter trim rings as well as shift gate trim.

I have a hornblasters train horn kit that I've been running on my trucks since 2008 and I will incorporate it into this truck as well.

Thanks to everyone who posted information on their builds. I have been scoping them all out and choosing what things I want to add to my truck.

I hope to add to the information in this forum.

HAHA! I was wearing shorts when I purchased it, although the next day (Christmas day) was a TOTALLY different story. Highs in the mid 40s. I had wondered if I was still in Florida!

Took a quick pic last night since the sky was showing off.

[IMG]20201229_175110 by Robert Stewart, on Flickr

Plans for this weekend are as follows.

    1. Get the front windows and windshield tinted. 20% and 70%

    2. Hypertech calibrator (Speed-o is fast by a small margin) It is delivering today. I got it through Oreilly's with a 20% discount for the new year.

    3. Install 5100 front shocks and alignment

I mistakenly didn't include bed rail system when I spec'd the truck, so now I have to figure out what I want to do. The rail system was priced at $125 if I would have ordered it with the truck, but buying it outright is +/- $200. Totally my mistake, but I'll be darned if I pay more than I could have. I may go to pull a part and see if they have any nice new wrecked Tundras that I can pull them off of.

Also, this seems to be a sore subject with some people, but I know what I like. The "Sport" package seems to come with Auto HVAC controls and I dislike that, so I found a manual set on Ebay and it is on it's way. Should be here next week. If any of you have a manual HVAC and looking to change to Auto, I'll have mine for sale soon.

Thursday, the windows got tinted and I got the front lifted.

    After tint, but before lift.

[IMG]20201231_144321 by Robert Stewart, on Flickr

It was so clean, I had to take a picture.

[IMG]20201231_152942 by Robert Stewart, on Flickr

After lift, before driving to get alignment.

Wifes 4runner after the rear lift spacer, so it wouldn't be all "Carolina squat"

[IMG]20210101_105957 by Robert Stewart, on Flickr

Here's the truck after alignment On Jan 1st with 949 miles on the ODO
The rear is 1/4" low, so I ordered Coachbuilder 2+ for a 1.25" lift.

I didn't do anything special to get it. From what I understand, all the TRD Sport packages come with it. :)

Is the swap from manual to auto HVAC controls just all plug and play? I have a 21 with manual controls, and would certainly be interested in the auto controls if it simple to do.

    Great looking truck and build!

Well, I purchased manual controls and installed them, but the only thing that worked is the recirculate button. I'm going to call the dealer when I have time and see if programming is needed. I'll update when I find out.

    Thank you!

Coachbuilder shackles arrived yesterday. Most likely going to install on Saturday.

Also, Hypertech hasn't released their speedometer Calibrator to be used on the 2021 trucks yet. I had to contact them with some update errors and I was instructed to return the unit I had and wait for them to do some testing to make sure it didn't interfere with any of the 2021 systems.

I haven't called the dealer yet about the manual HVAC controls yet. Too much going on.

Here's an edit from Instagram yesterday on my driveway.

Finally got some time Sunday morning to put the rear shackles on.

This is what they look like when they arrive.

Man, I wouldn't have thought those OEM bushings would be so difficult to press out.
The first bushing, I was just pushing on the center, so the metal part wasn't getting pressed on. I found a washer that was the perfect diameter to press on the second one and it came out a lot easier.

    Finished!

    Of course.
It's an 08 Jet Stream Blue Z06 with heads/cam/headers making close to 600 to tire.

This is my second time owning this car. I tracked down the current owner and bought it back from him. He didn't treat it so nice, so I am getting it back to where it needs to be.

An old shot I like in my garage.
