    ...................

I guess time to work on my excuse, I've got 2 options in my head
    a) makes towing easier
    b) I won't buy the TRX if I keep make this one faster.

    I'm leaning toward a)

Done deal! Looking for a shop to do install. Everyone I've heard that did this had all good things to say, I haven't heard any negative responses.

I would have to dig for the cost because I did Elockers front and rear at the same time so my cost was up there and I did cryotherapy on the gears

Did you do REM and cryo?

What does cryo run, roughly, if you recall?

just the cryo and I forgot the cost per pound but I know they all vary depending on the facilities

Cryo, like for brake rotors, is just for longevity and durability, I’m guessing.
It doesn’t help with break-in does it?

I did not ask because I drove 250 miles on 2 days back to back for my break in. Call me old school I guess but too much invested to take a short cut

I would do it the same way, more than likely.
Wasn’t looking for shortcut, was trying to find out the benefits of cryo on gears.

    For brake rotors:
Cryogenic treatment of rotors or cryo-rotors is the freezing of rotors. It is a special process which involves exposing brake rotors in freezing temperatures in order to add more durability and lengthen its life expectancy.

In short, cryo treatment is a process by which metal is subjected to extremely cold temperatures as low as minus 301 degrees Fahrenheit. The process works on anything made of metal. The time it takes to treat a part relates directly to its mass.

    Naw, Can’t really remember.
It was posted on an older thread and then reposted.
I thought I saved a bookmark of it but I can’t find it.
    I’ll do some searching shortly.
It was definitely in a regear thread.

I have 2018 tundra 7 inch lifted with 35s. I am running 35s since last 2 years with stock gear ratio. I am not feeling much mpg difference but it waits little long before changing gears. But besides that everything looks ok.

I really never calculate my MPG’s mainly because of my driving habits

I would also look at the power trax grip pro LSD, it uses gears instead of clutches that the Auburn uses to engage. I was holding out for the powertrax back in early 2020, but covid delayed the production release by 4 months, so I went with the auburn

I have 35’s with 5.29’s and Harrop Elockers in front and rear and I love the combination. I have my speedometer corrected and am going through an OV Tune. I do not go to the track and times runs by any means and I would not unless i had traction bars. A lot of axle wrap back there on a launch

My speedo did not change after installing 529s. Meaning the 2 mph that is was off with my 295/70/18s before gears l, stayed the same after gears. Verified with GPS speed app on phone and construction/police radar signs. I have since installed the speedo calibrator, I did not even mess with inputting my new gear ratio. I have done 50 mile stretches on the highway and my trip odometer is off by 0.1 miles with the mile markers.
