Ordered the Morimoto 2Stroke 2.0 bulbs from Headlight Revolution and installed them this past weekend. Super impressed, truly are plug-and-play.

Morimoto vs Slyvania "SilverStar Ultra" bulbs:

Dust covers required no cutting or modification. Went right over the bulb and does not block the cooling vents at all:

I've replaced both headlight bulbs about 2 years ago. About a year ago I had another one go out, then 2 weeks ago again... Went the LED route because I got tired or pulling the front apart just to replace them. It was a great decision! I planning to replace the blinkers, side markers, and flood lights in the next few weeks. 100% would recommend Headlight Revolution! They have videos of different options and installs for the Tundra so you know what you're getting before you order it.

It does look like that but it’s because it’s hitting the “decorative indentation” part of the panel. I repositioned my truck afterwards and made sure it was the same as the right. I did rotate the bulbs a little on both sides but it was pretty close out of the box.

I put the same one in my 2020 SR5 - about 6 months ago... sometimes I am hearing a big noise - like fan running... it is definitely coming from the driver side lamp.. Have you experience that? should I worry? thanks in advance.

The bulbs have cooling fans built into them and that’s probably what you’re hearing.
