The 'right' truck will come along. I've seen so many people buy vehicles and say "I didn't want this color, but.." and lived through it myself so it was just a cautionary tale.

 

Very similar, March 10th 2020 Limited 4x4 Crewmax w/9 miles. Window sticker price $49,753 paid $43,303 before registration/taxes/bla, bla, bla. Looks like you got a slightly better deal than I did.

I agree with the color comment by @FlyingWolfe. I picked mine up from GA and I'm in VA. Not only did they have the best deal, but they had the color and pkg combo (sport pkg no chrome) that I wanted.

No regrets. Although it doesn't hurt that KBB says my dealer trade in value is 2k more then what I paid for it .

 

just put a deposit down on a 2021 SX crewmax in Barcelona Red. $40,500 before TTL. I live in MN but purchased in ND.

I thought it was an ok deal. not great but not bad. 2 weeks prior i had a dealer agree to sell me a TRD OR crewmax for 42k. should have took that deal but didnt. When i called him today he said he wouldnt even offer me an SX package that cheap. I asked him what changed and he said inventory is dried up

 

Paid $54k for a Lunar Rock TRD Pro. $1k off sticker.

The mileage was high, but it was all highway use.

 

Just picked up my 2021 Double Cab SX Package (w/ floor liners + spray in bedliner) yesterday for $37,189 with the current $2,000 cash back using the Costco pricing ($1k under invoice). Located in Maryland, purchased through Humberto @ Darcars Baltimore. No haggling, and I felt the price was appropriate based on the ridiculous offers I got from other dealers in the area (I contacted 20 dealers in total).

Which dealer? I'm in Houston as well, and currently not having luck with local dealerships. Looking for a Cement or Super White 21 CM 4x4 SR5 and nothing extra. Best quote so far is MSRP of 49k down to 43.6k from Ringler Toyota out in Temple. This includes the $2k rebate, so $45.6 if I opt for the 0% financing.

Haven't decided if it's worth going for, or not. I've got about 8 weeks to decide, before purchasing.

 

Just before Christmas Santa brought me a 21 sr5upgraded super white trail ed. 4x4 cm with added step tubes console safe tailgate power lock spray in liner and power fold oem tow mirrors for 43500 otd plus ttl which here in okc was 2059. Still fighting for the trans cooler, telling them to spend a few hundred now will be far cheaper than buying me a new tranny or two. We will see. These covid prices are rough, and now they're limiting tundra production due to chip shortages, don't expect anything to normalize soon, lol

 

Got my 2017 Tundra 1794 4x4 in Sept. for $37,000 with 49k miles, 6" Pro Comp, 20" Havok wheels with 35" Cooper STT Pros, and Bushwakers. I got $22,500 trade in for my 2016 Tacoma SR5 4x4 with 79K miles

Southwest Florida... wanted to wait out this lingering (or is it still in full force?) covid effect on tundra supply, at least the Limiteds, but didn't see an end to it. Wanted a final year V8... difficult to find color combo apparently, looked countrywide for months with a smattering of results, and what did show up online was usually already sold, or supposedly on the way, or whatever, there was always a friggin' story.. so last week found one on its way in "this weekend", seemed close enough to take a chance on, turned out to be Tuesday, today, so I ran with it.... MGM/Black Limited 4x4 Crewcab @ $47,300...... $4K in extras (delivery, processing, etc., moon roof, spray in bedliner, full tank of gas, limited premium package (incl various sonars, audio stuff, Limited mats, antitheft).. I think that's it.... so were at $51,300, ended up getting $2k off so totaled out before tax tag etc was $49,300.... two things kept me from planning my day there to fight it out and try to work a better deal.... one is that I, and they, know they'll sell that truck before Thursday if I don't take it. And the other is that I just didn't feel good about nitpicking it, lately everybody's taking a beating, they may be selling the hell out of Tundras and a couple others but I'm sure no salesman is getting rich... so I don't know, felt it might be a bit high but said what the hell and got my truck and drove that beast home. AND I have a question, please.... is there a code somewhere on the truck that says what size the gas tank is? I'm driving home and I look down and it says I have (something like) 547 miles to go on that tank.... and I'm thinking in this truck? And I was gonna figure it out but I'm enjoying hauling ass across the Howard Frankland and numbers kinda give me a headache anyway so I forgot about it then... only to remember it now.... either I've got a much bigger tank than I was expecting, 30+ gallons or so, or maybe the computer is too new to give me a good reading..... nothing on my paperwork specifies the tank size... okay, thanks, I'm gonna go make sure it's still in the garage.

 

Put your VIN into the Toyota website to see the build of your truck. I have the 38 gallon tank and drove 430 miles round trip and the light came on saying about 27 miles left. I went to fill it up and it took 7 gallons. That is more like 105 miles left. Anyways I got 15.2 from Vegas to Brianhead UT cruising 80MPH round trip.

 

Upgrade package comes with 38 gal tank and some extra stucf like shift gear on floor instead of shift column by steering wheel.

 

Nice on the VIN, will try it.... fuel computer seems kinda weak, unless the weird math is dependably off the same every time.
