    Are the TRD rear sway bars worth it for handling? Will most likely be installing air bags for when the boat is hooked up, but have been considering adding the rear sway bar also.

    Fuel delete mod Cup holder upgrade
    It's noticeably better in turns by reducing body roll.

    I have firestone airbags and the sway bar and it is totally worth it. I do not tow a boat but I have a decked two drawer system and a Leitner designs cargo system. Often I will have a lot of weight in my bed and on the rack. I have 35 inch tires and a three inch lift. The sway bar is very very helpful in all situations.

    Good points about the suspension. I wouldn't run the sway bar if you have an off road suspension set up.

    LOVE the Hellwig but I have to sell mine. Being able to adjust it to the way I drive is priceless plus they are a heavier bar than the TRD sway bar

    Thanks guys. The truck does has a 3/1 suspension kit going in today but I still will get one. My off-roading is limited to forest roads during hunting season.

    I have a Hellwig on my 2002, and my 2007 has a TRD bar as well as bags.
    Handling is greatly improved.

    I installed a TRD sway bar one week after buying my 2021 tundra SR5 SX end of of November . Made a huge difference on windy back roads. Hardly any lean on clover leafs . Even seems to stay in lane better on highway. ( doesn’t wander tracks straight). Made a huge difference. I almost bought a Tacoma instead for the better handling. But got the tundra cause I love a v8. Without rear sway bar the tundra leaned and had sloppy handling . The trd bar is huge bang for buck
