Rim backspacing is the same, but it's a 7" rim vs 7.5" originals, so that's how I came up with 1/4" less.

I really liked those 18" BBS Wheels that came on the Darrel Waltrip Tundra. Don't see them very often.

I have these wheels on my truck which is stock with 5100s on 2nd clip like yours. They rub slightly at full lock which i just avoid. My tires are KO2s 275/70/R17.

Do those have the same backspacing as the factory 17" 5 spokes? I'm trying to get a feel for that tire size. I'm not sure I want to give up any more turning radius though.

Has anyone used the third generation Tacoma wheels on the first gen Tundra? They are pretty cheap on Craigslist

I think they have the same offset cause when I rotated them it didn't look any different. in that photo, there was no spacers but I had to get some because there was rubbing on the frame, so I got 1.5 inch spider trax spacers. http://www.spidertrax.com/Toyota-Hub-Centric-Spacer?sc=2&category=9983
Also, the tire size is 265 70 R17

Here's what they look like with spacers

Sorry for the garbage photo, but here’s my Double Cab with the FJ cruiser(?) 17s and Cooper Discover AT3 265/70/17s.

Bought both the wheels and tires used but in good shape. Cost me $590 OTD mounted and balanced. $350 for wheels $240 for tires.

I am torn. Those wheels would look good on either. The offset looks about the same as the stock double cab wheels.

For anyone wondering, the 3rd gen 4runner wheels will not work on a double cab. They may work on other models with smaller brakes.

I found a set of these on FB market and was thinking about snagging them. Wasn’t sure how they would look on. I like them.

Oddly enough I prefer them without the center caps with black axle nut covers. My rear “axle nut” covers (not sure what to call them. Just the part the center cap covers between the lugs), are rusted, or else I’d run em without caps.

Current truck, current rims but different tires.

I picked up this set of 2005 Toyota Tundra Prerunner rims, excellent condition, for only $40 for all 4... unbelievable deal.

I believe all 16 inch third gen wheels will work with the 231mm calipers that all 2003.5+ Tundra's have, EXCEPT the ones in your pic. My understanding is even those will work if one is willing to grind a very small amount of material off the edge of the calipers, though I've never done that myself..

Gonna sneak Sequoia pic in just for the guys like me that have hard time finding Sequoia stuff. Will update when we wrap them in 265/70-16 Duratracs on Monday but the wife chose them and I think they look pretty good.

Looking for wheels for my 2004 Tundra as the original are pretty corroded. I found a set of gx460 wheels which I think may look good on the truck. They are +25 offset, 18x7.5, the six spoke wheels. I haven’t been able to find a picture of them on a tundra.
    Anybody running these?
