    knock sensors wires eaten by the rat that used to live inside the intake manifoldtundra.jpg

    After vacuuming, I found one wire the rest, likely rat poo. I'll have to lengthen the wires of the two chewed up sensor connectors.
    intake was easy to remove, the wiring harness straps was not easy.
    lesson learned, if you know that rats have been around the engine, you have to inspect all wires that are connected to the engine before install

    This occurred 4 years ago when truck this engine is from was in the woods, stripped.
    If you got rats in your daily driver you need heavy duty pest control.

    I test drove the truck, same smoke came put after starting the car.
    Otherwise good, just have to reset the pcm
