Looks good. Maybe when I need new tires Ill get a wider tire and forgo the spacers. I can’t make myself buy tires when mine came with ridge grapplers.

 

I am new to Tundras. I have never been a “any particular truck” guy. Currently have a Titan and had a Ram.
I’m looking for a Lunar Rock Tundra now and am about to give up. I’ve called about 20 dealers around. So hard to find. Love all y’all’s!

 

They aren't easy to come by! For a color with a lot of internet critics, it's an easy truck to sell. Good luck, I love my lunar rock!

Use AutoTrader. Set a search notification up for 2021 Toyota Tundra with keyword “Lunar” and unlimited distance. Check the VIN of each listing that pops up against the VIN checker that Toyota has on their owner website to confirm that actual truck (don’t pay attention the listing pictures or descriptions). Then start calling.

Don't give up, I like the color a lot and didn't mind the wait, when it's clean, it's truly something.

Got my S&B in, its a nice set up, butt dyno likes it.

 

I had the same problem trying to compete as the were hitting the lot. They were gone before I could even get to the dealership(s). I quit that game and placed a deposit for an allocation. Hoping it shows up in Feb. Something to consider if you can or are willing to wait.

I guess I just got lucky or they aren’t as popular around here. I went to look at an SR5 and they traded it to another dealer before I got there. The lunar rock was sitting right in front of the building with all of the badass vehicles and I had to have it once I saw it.

I was thinking today that in some light, it reminds me of the old US Forest Service vehicles. I grew up in the north woods and that color is a bit of a staple of my childhood. I still smile when I see old trucks and blazers in that color, obviously bought off surplus.

 

With the black that color looks good! Like to see one in person

Thanks. Picked her up and drove the 150 miles home.
As of right now, all I plan on is tinting the windows, the ABS plastic badge inserts, tonneau and some 295 or 285/70r18 tires and leave suspension stock. I drive too much to mess with that. Maybe some go rhino running boards but that may come later. Maybe some inserts in cup holders and maybe wrap the silver plastic inside.


the ride home, initial impressions: the truck isn’t as fast as I thought. Sounds great, but it’s heavy, steering is light. Way more room inside than my Titan. Love the back window going down. JBL is def not a premium radio but will work. Love the lumbar in drivers seat. Love the ride and did I say sound of exhaust/engine? Like the headlights/rigid fogs. Love the lunar rock.

I talked to a couple in Texas before ordering, but didn't get anywhere. I've actually bought and shipped a new vehicle from TX before but you need a pretty healthy discount to make sense of it after shipping and that kind of discount is just not gonna happen on the Pros. I now spend my days drooling over all the trucks in here waiting for mine to arrive.

Spotted a Lunar Rock 4Runner around Sandy heading the other direction on our way up. And there was a Lunar Rock Tacoma in the parking lot when we got up there (they left before I could snag a picture).
Was a beautiful day on the mountain, and one HELL of a sunset!

2000-ish miles (one month) of road grime with a top coat of red pumice traction sand "dust" on top (from my trip up to Timberline yesterday)...one of the reasons I picked this color is because it should do a pretty good job of dealing with getting dirty.
