No, I’m a Superintendent.

I asked my operator a couple weeks back if he saw a good sunrise coming to give me a heads up, and a few days later the call came over the radio, so I hustled up the mast just in time to get a few good photos.

 

Which contractor? We (JH Kelly) don’t do as much up in Seattle, though we did just finish building our office up there and are growing that market. Most of our work is the Portland area, and large industrial stuff all over the northwest

 

Walsh Construction Co. We call ourselves “small Walsh” as Walsh group out of Chicago moved into our market several years back. Although, small in comparison, we are still doing $400M + a year.

We are headquartered out of Portland although our Seattle office does about the same volume. Great company, I’m sure I’ll be a lifer.

I’ve seen JH Kelly’s new office there off of First Ave, great looking building. My wife just wrapped up her project (Lander St Bridge) just north of there.

 

I know we’ve done a few projects with you guys. I’m heading up to that office on Wednesday for a visit, and to pick up some stuff for Christmas presents.
