How quick y’all wheel bearings went out? Getting them checked out next week. If it is what I suspect. Do you guys recommend replacing with factory bearings or are there better alternatives? Thanks

**update: not wheel bearing. It was the wheel weights touching caliper lmao

Any running +12 offset...I just purchased 37’s and was wondering how much trimming I’m going to have to do. I’ve read that +18 was minimal trimming, what’s 6mm more?

My setup up is 2.5 kings with camburg UCA, currently running 35’s, BMC is done, wheels are VTX terra 18x9 +12..can’t wait to join the club
    Thanks

Haha! I had the same issue after discount tires installed my new wheels. They double stacked to the weights and when I was driving home I thought I was having the same issue as you. Luckily it was an easy fix, but I was passed at first because I was wondering how they didn't check clearances before me leaving

Ok, I need some help and I don't see the answer to my question already posted. I am planning to make the jump to 37's next, got my CMC scheduled and high clearance bumper on order. I am ordering wheels today and want opinions on +25 offset, Icon Rebounds to be exact. Or will a 0 offset work better?

This has been discussed pretty extensively in this thread... but +25 is better for clearing the body mount and for tucking the tire into the fender if you plan to wheel. Unless you plan on going to glass fenders, then you really can just choose what you like... What UCAs?

I am running the +25 rebounds, if you go this route, be careful of your reservoir mount if you have one in the front.

    EDIT:
Wheel offset is the distance (in mm) that the hub of the wheel, (where you bolt the wheel to the car) is from the center of the wheel. Example 1: +25 mm offset = The center of the wheel is 25 mm closer to the outside, or curbside, of the wheel.

As wheel offset nears zero or goes negative the more the wheel/tire is going to stick out. Consensus is that these trucks seem to be pretty happy with a +18 or + 25 offset. With zero offset at full crank, more tire will be sticking out from the “pivot point” and is more likely rub front and rear.

Thank you! I am trying to go back and find it on the thread, I guess I missed some pages. I have an Icon stage 5 with tubular UCA's. On the fence about glass fenders even though it would look good with my RK Sports hood. I appreciate the info.

I would do more research on those UCAs, if they are not the Delta Joint Icons, I think the geometry might get you into more trouble than some of the other UCAs when swapping up to 37s.

Don’t forget about doing the pinch weld mod, and if you really want to run zero offset just make sure the BMC is on the aggressive side.. it’s not like there is only 1 place they can cut. Some shops take it further back than others, so just something to be cognizant of.

    pics of the truck now?

Delta Joints are just the joints. They're on both the tubulars and heimed billets. The Tubulars aren't adjustable.

Just lurked your build page.. these tubular Icons are not the Billet Delta Joints I was thinking of that are adjustable.

Have you since upgraded to these?

The dang Icon tubular UCAs are preventing me right now from making the jump up to 37s, they dont allow moving the wheel forward enough that the billet or other brands allow during alignment. They are my biggest regret purchase after 4 years. Would be awesome if Icon offered an upgrade program.

I don’t know them very well, @joonbug used to run them.. I know he won’t say anything good, but at least you’ll get a knowledgeable response.

I’m still in the penalty box for my Delta Joint blunder :playball:
