What makes you angry?

Bad driving in general. People around here will yield when they have the right of way and won't yield when they don't. I can't count the number of times I've had to slam on the brakes or floor it to avoid a collision.

 

Tell me about it . . . I tow a boat w/ my Tundra. On a regular trip I'll run 500 miles total . . . in that time I'll have no less than 6 people merging onto the freeway try to go right behind my truck and not seeing that I'm towing a boat! Friggin Tunnel Vision'd Morons! . . . I've gotten so used to it, I can usually tell who is going to do it.

 

Walked into a Honda dealership to pick up an axle seal. While I'm at the parts counter theyre playing that "TURNING THE BEAT AROOOOOOUUUND" song. I started thinking WTF now its gonna be in my head for days.

Guy goes to get my part and as I turn to walk out the song switches to spice Girls "if you wanna be my lover". WTF! Who decides this shit should be played at a car dealership? Feel real sorry for the poor guy sitting in the service bay waiting on his car to be repaired.

 

My favorite is people who flick the turn signal after they've already started a turn. Brilliant! Tell me what you're going to do AFTER you've already done it so I can plan to safely react accordingly... derp.

 

. . . how about the joker who SLAMS on the brakes after all most missing the turn and THEN hits the turn indicator!?!?!?

 

What about the guys who work there and have to listen to that crap all day every day?

 

Them too, but at least they're paid to be there. Customers are essentially paying to hear that crap.

 

9 packages hung up in USPS distribution centers with no scheduled delivery in sight.

 

People commenting on subjects that they don't have any experience or knowledge.

 

Muppets in Shop Rite that get to the check out and pull out their purse and proceed to count coins and go through their coupons

 

It's even better if he was behind you, jumped on the gas to get around you, then does that as soon as he gets back in front if you. It's especially satisfying when they pull that to beat you to the turn that leads into a small neighborhood.

I guess I might understand it better if I was out Sunday-driving 10 or more under the posted limit, but I'm generally a 5 over guy. Guess that's just not enough, I should be 20 over in residential areas?

 

When I just cut my finger nails and I suddenly have a booger to pick.

When I go to pick my nose nut the booger just gets pushed in more beyond reach.

When people act like they don't pick their nose once in a while. I have a deviated septum so I have to at least once a day.

 

People whose feeling of self importance outweighs their awareness of what is going on around them.

Dropped my wife off for her second surgery this month, she needs an ankle repair. The procedure is to walk into the foyer, patients are taken into the lobby one at a time and checked in immediately. Drivers wait in the foyer to hear that the patient is checked in and what time to expect a call.

I'm in the foyer, a dude walks in looking like he's gotta pee, his anxiety is high like he's in a hurry. He walks to the lobby entrance over and over and sees the check in process. After a minute of this he walks past the check in and heads for the counter, the check in lady has to stop what she's doing to intercept him. He says he is there to pick up his wife, she kindly tells him where to park by the exit and wait for her. I pointed out the sign jn the foyer which he walked by several times that shows the pickup procedure. You park and call a number, they bring your person out.

Next, there was a young woman sitting in the foyer, holding her hand on her forehead as if she had a headache. She should be aware of what is going on because she is right outside the lobby door. She sees the nurse who is guiding the anxious guy and with a loud annoyed voice says "anything? Its after 8 now" (it was 8:05). The nurse kindly tells her somebody will be with her shortly, and as she walks away the nurse who was already on the way stops to see the young woman. She asks for ID and insurance card, the woman rolls her eyes and acts like its a big chore to go into her pocket.

Come on, nobody likes going to places like this but give nurses a break. They deserve a lot more respect.

 

2020.....Just not ending. I know everyone has had a shitty year one way or another and I'm not going to unload on y'all but damn. Why does anyone think '21 will be better?

I hate when people come to a dead stop on a not very busy main road in Nashville to let someone pull out of the Kroger parking lot in front of them.

I hate when one side of a highway split is backed up and someone, instead of getting over in time, will drive all the way to the split, and stop with their turn signal on (on the highway, for crying out loud) even though the lane they’re trying to get into is crammed bumper to bumper.

Driving in the South is infuriating.

 

Makes me angry when people post about what makes them angry. Lol

 

When pilots don't know what callsign they have..... call me under the N callsign and when I say it doesn't exist, they come back with oh, then it should be this.... civilians aren't the only ones either.... or they have an aircraft breakdown, and give a whole speech to their passengers about how ATC is delaying them on an air traffic frequency...

 

2 months ago we had super strong winds for a few days. It shredded the leaves on my banana trees. I trimmed them down expecting the tree to go into Winter mode but instead it grew new beautiful leaves.

Last night we had 50-75mph wind, woke up and saw my freshly shredded banana tree leaves. Sonovabeesh!

 

Two lane highways through the mountains. Some drivers go slowly holding up a line of traffic behind them. Just oblivous. Then, when a passing lane comes up, they speed up and race to the end of the passing segment so that nobody can get around them. Then, when they get back to the two lane double yellow, they slow down again. Makes my head want to explode.

 

You've been driving in British Columbia, haven't you?

 

One thing that really irks me are young salesmen. I think you know the type. I'm a pretty chill guy and it takes a lot to get me worked up but if you want to do it, try to blow smoke up my ass. Its both disingenuous and insulting.

We're hunting down a new family vehicle so this is a little fresh for me right now

It's especially bad when Albertans do it. I have Alberta plates but I was born and raised in BC, learned to drive there too. Flatlanders have no idea what to do when faced with the possibilty of having to make a turn at highway speeds. I had one occasion where myself and another truck were doing the slingshot/drafting/convoy thing at 120km/h through the North Thompson valley. We both pulled into the same gas station in Kamloops, he walks behind my truck, looks at my plate, looks at me and said "you were born in BC right?". I go "yup". He said "I can tell. You know how to take a corner."

 

The only drivers I've come across who are worse than the ones from Southern Alberta are the ones from central BC.

 

They have their moments but Lower Mainlanders are the worst drivers I've ever seen, and I've been across Canada and in much of the western US. My buddy who went to Afghanistan said the drivers in the Middle East are better than Lower Mainland drivers.

 

I haven't driven in the US all that much. Everywhere I've been down there, people drive really fast but they don't seem that bad to me.
