    Beautiful truck!

    Edit:
If you were east coast I would buy this from you. $8-12k depending on rust and condition of interior.

Haha I've loved having it, but no longer need a truck bed. Will be shopping for Toyota SUV.

Generally speaking, you'll get more if you pull off the non stock stuff and sell it separately. You'll never recoup your cost, but you'll get more parting out the extras. As for fair price, no idea. A clean truck like that will fetch a premium.

Fair point. The suspension would stay with truck, as the stock parts were shot. Sliders / bed rack / tent would be about it for parts to separate.

Good idea though, I hadn't really thought about that route.

KBB for this truck in my area is $12k on the high end. Personally I would spend up to $15k on an 06 double cab in the right condition. No rust is prime and hard to find here.

Yeah, it takes more time, but you get more out of the parts if they are off the truck. Lots of trucks sit on the market because the seller has put $X,000 into it and want's to get a lot of it back, but mods are personalizations. Personalization on the vehicles shrinks your buying pool and so it reduces the demand. When I bought my first truck I skipped anything that had been modified or chipped. They all thought that meant they could jack up the price of the truck beyond it's bluebook and who knows if any of the mods were done right. Eventually I just got to where I only buy new, and now I'm a bit more open to used and even modified.

Do you need a 3rd row seat? If not, put a cap on the bed and you'll have more utility/cargo space than an SUV.

Did they make TRD Off Roads that were 2WD? Seems silly, but I really don't know.

They sure did. I only learned this a few weeks ago. Also, some people slap the TRD stickers on there for cool points.

I think you could get $15k for it. Low miles, no rust, (assume) pretty straight inside & out and loaded with goodies!
Any notes about the timing belt?

If you are serious about selling it, I would separate the tent and rack. There is only a small segment of the population that is going to care about the RTT. If you are planning to get an SUV you should be able to use the tent on the roof. Personally, I think you should just keep the truck.

4Runner, sequoia or LC? If you have the space for the tundra, I’d keep it. Good chance you’ll regret selling if you go down to a 4Runner. I would add a topper/shell if you want a sequoia/lc.

That's a really nice looking truck. I'm with the others in saying you might end up regretting it if you sell it.

List it for 17.5K . . . you can always come down. It's a sellers market right now. Not everyone has, or wants to plop down 60-70K on a new truck, therefore that's driving up the used car/truck prices. And with the reliability reputation of the Gen 1 Tundra, it's a no-brainer the thing will run past 250K miles w/ only basic maintenance.

Price it high. That is a nice truck with low miles. New trucks are $40k and higher.

    $17,500 would not be unreasonable.

By way of comparison, my neighbor just sold me his 2006 DC 2wd with 60K miles for $15K. He was going to list it for $18K and sit on it if I didn't want it. It was stock w/ a new snug top camper/ timing belt/ new tires, shocks, and brakes. He also put a pioneer head unit, new speakers, and back up camera in it, along with weather tech floor mats front and back. So I think that I scored.

Those trucks are hard to come by, especially in that condition. With the mileage you have I would think it would sell pretty quick at 17k. I sold my 04 DC 2wd TRD last year for $7250 with 200k on it, if it had been 4wd I would still have it.

I just sold an 05 double cab here in LA and think the recommendation to list at $17,500 is in line. You won't have to give much from there. Could even start a bit higher. I think sell the tent, that's a specific user, but I think most people buying a first gen 4x4 tundra will appreciate some of the other goodies. Good luck selling!
