Toyota Tundra Wireless "Flip Charger" by Taco Tunes

Interesting concept. This is a kickstarter campaign at $79 for those interested. Not sure if the KS has ended. My concern is what about my beer or big gulp getting in the way of the flip.

Very cool, something I would have been interested in. It looks like the Kickstarter had ended with unsuccessful funding, but wonder if they continued development.

 

Bad design, gets in the way of any drink, seems flimsy too.

 

I don’t like using tablet sized phones, and with Carplay I don’t look at my phone screen at all while driving. I see this interfering with access to my coffee cup on my morning commute.

If my CPLAY2AIR adapter continues working as it has been (which is great), I’ll likely add the console “tray” wireless charger and call it a day.

 

I currently have the Toyota wireless charger installed in my 2021 after removing it from my 2015. But I am thinking of removing it since I now have Android play on my new truck. I just need to figure out how to use it and where I will place it during my travels. I hear that Tuffskinz has a foam plate that goes down by the third cup holder. Still thinking.....
