I would love to ship one but I was only able to get the one bottle. I have yet to ever see EH Taylor on a shelf. They are always held in the back with the managers to allocate to restaurants, bars and their loyal customers. My recommendation is get to know your local stores and the managers. Talk to them about your interest in what you like and they will keep you in mind if they get shipments in. That’s how I get the inside scoop on shipments and the opportunity to buy most of my stash. I know some places will even put you on a notification list when they get good stuff in.

My son brought this home for Christmas break. I was thinking "College Whiskey". I was totally blown away for the price point.

Cracked this open yesterday. Great stuff, it’s the 2019 and lower proof but it packs so much flavor

Won a van winkle lot B in a raffle, traded it for this (and some cash), very happy with the result. Lot B is excellent but this is better for sure in my book

I passed on this 3 times this week, 3 stores all had it for 500. Just can't drop that kinda coin until I try it first.

While I still want to have a bottle I wouldn’t pay the inflated pricing either. The retail pricing is $99 for George T Stagg. Now finding it at the price is the real challenge since the 2nd hand markets are charging $500-$700 for it.
Here is a interesting link on Buffalo Traces George T Stagg showing all the information on each years specs. 2020 is a lot hotter than last years.

500 is rough but about what they’re trading for on the illicit bourbon markets, I’d be willing to pay like 250-300 if i saw it in a store but the 500 range starts getting into 25-30 year old Scotch or 50+ year old Cognacs. Not even comparable at that price.

Yes this secondary market is frustrating, not sure if / how that is fixable. I too think I would be hard pressed not to buy one of these in the price range you mention, may not see it there again.

Smoke Wagon is good, a little bite at first. Larceny is a store pick and I can't get enough of the BT Kosher!

Is there any sort of Tundras.com Bourbon bottle exchange? Obviously some exchanges will require compensation with trade. Midwest here if anybody is looking for something in my area. Maybe an awful idea, just thought I'd throw it out there. Disregard if already discussed. Didn't read through all 48 pages.

If you can get your hands on the smoke wagon uncut unfiltered that's some good stuff. Never seen the BT Kosher is that a new release?

That was sold out, because I was looking for it specifically . I think the BT is within the last 2 years, just a guess, it is my favorite flavor profile, a little sweet, not harsh. It's a struggle to see it go but my fiancé has decided it tastes the best with eggnog, and will take that over any other bourbon I have.

For bourbon I like Buffalo Trace. My favorite whiskey is Johnnie Walker. I like all of them I’ve tried. Usually mix it with some ginger ale. Except for the gold or platinum. That’s too expensive to mix. I’ve been planning on picking up a bottle of blue label for a while now but I just can’t bring myself to drop that kind of money on something that I will just drink.
