Well, here’s a mock up of the on board compressor mount I put together. Pretty sturdy, ran out of daylight to run a vibration test with the new compressor attached. Still need to rewire the compressor and replace the air fittings.

I have no idea what you’re talking about.
I am curious if you know what the biggest tire I can fit on stock suspension is though!

Nice! I keep putting it off, but I’ll get a damn ticket one day with no plate. But I just hate to put a plate on that awesome bumper.

I think this flip up was a good compromise. beats putting a plate in the windshield!

the screws have started rusting on me though, so you might need to invest another $4 in SS hardware once you get it

Icon Stage 8 kit with tubular UCA and RXT leaf pack

Icon actually upgraded the coil overs to CDCV version which was a nice surprise.

I had a Retrax in my 2005 DC.
Assembled it in the garage and lifted it by myself (canister and rails), set the canister on the tail gate, got in the bed, and lifted it into place.
Put the clamps on the rails, done deal.

Keep in mind I had a full bedrug on the tailgate, so cover your tailgate.
Also be aware of the drain tubes on the bottom of the canister if you set it down on something flat......

I used to take it off by myself when I knew I needed the full bed.
Just pulled the drain tubes off, took the rail clamps off, lifted it, set the canister on the bed, then got down, lifted it, and set it down on carpet.
I would set it down on the front canister end with the rails sticking straight up to avoid damaging the drain tubes.
You can do it by yourself, although a helper the first time or two would be helpful.

    Retraxopen_76ad0be85c4f2583f8a1cd93687c376dc110ef8e.jpg Bedrug4_f53385cb37981571f72dbda90e874e0c2ba12130.jpg Bedrug5_369190ecac247423a632b9cd5f3d4ad20ad1afcc.jpg

    As to the drain tubes:
I used underground lawn sprinkler parts to run my Undercover Flex drains.
Same would apply for the Retrax canister tubes.....
I should of used the top half of the plug instead of the bottom.
Would have given more clearance for 4X8 sheets of sheetrock or plywood.

    A side note...
I wish I would have bought another Retrax (or a Diamondback) instead of the Flex.......
I like the Flex, but I liked the Retrax better...

Gotta love that puckered up feeling when the ceilings look low!

My truck isn't even lifted and I totally feel like I'm gonna hit something in covered parking garages. Part of why I've kept my stock antenna. It's my feeler for things. If it hits, I know I need to stop and evaluate the situation!

Sweet! I’ve got the same, 7” coilover and I’m looking to add rear airbags. Which ones did you go with? Did you add anything along with the bags?

On my last trip stayed at Marriott that had parking garage. Happy that I measured my truck. Stock it stands at 6’-6”, the garage was 7’. It looked really close.

Pick up my mom from the hospital a while back...i failed to measure. Looked wayyyy close. It was. I scraped on the plastic warning sign then proceeded to be that guy and almost got stuck. Ended up backing up the way I came.
